LONG UPDATE - So this place got a pretty significant update recently. Going from 1 star to 3 stars is no small feat either. The large majority of the games here have been replaced with shiny new ones, and my god does it make a difference. As it is now, this arcade has a pretty good selection of games, ranging from old to new, and all games are in great condition. Prices are a little on the high side, but I am okay with that, as they're new machines and the older ones are cheaper. Location is perfect, inside the Myer Centre, next to the cinema. A food court is just a few floors below, and plenty to eat outside the centre. Plenty of shops inside and outside the Myer Centre. Opening hours are bad compared to other arcades, as they close at 10pm most nights while the competition is open till 1am-2am. Really easy to use self service machines, can give you new arcade debit card, or recharge your current one. They use eTicketsand eCash. Staff are still this arcades downside. They seem to be unenthusiastic and unhelpful, but could tell me where the nearest ATM is. Please learn what a Konomi Card is, had to explain its what the new DDRA comes with (sold behind the counter). I'll include my old review below, in case the 1 person who actually read this far is curious how bad they used to be. OLD REVIEW - Lots of old, warn out machines. Had the version of DDR with my fave song, but it was old and warn out, screen looked awful, sensors were beyond bad. Obvious that games never get replaced and that they never get maintenance. Self serve game card has no eftpos, no adequate cooling/fans for any of the games. Staff obviously don't want to be there. I tried giving this place 5 chances, all 5 visits got a 1 star. Shame I can't rate it lower.

My mate from Kansas, USA - who arrived this morning at BNE after 20+ hours and three planes - is an absolute nutcase for pinball so after a midday lunch in The Valley, we came here. He hit that X-Men pinnie for an hour. Thing is, he hadn't ben to Aus' since September 2023 but goddamn if he didn't know EXACTLY where the venue was AND the machine. He was hoping to bust the "low" top score of 125,000,000 but hes ben cussing a lot since Ive ben watching. Great place, lot noise and fun. I was watching a guy play the Taiko no Tatsujin (the Japanese drum game) and hoboy, he barely missed anyway.

We are visiting from Los Angeles and enjoyed our time at the Funhouse Family Entertainment Center in Brisbane. One of my children, who has special needs, absolutely loves the rubber bouncing balls from the gumball machine. I want to extend a big thank you to Rob Fayers for his exceptional customer service. He was incredibly kind and accommodating, swapping out the rubber bouncing balls until my son found the ones he wanted. I'd also like to thank Zack Wyman for providing excellent customer service.

Been coming here for years since around 2011 mainly to Play Maxi Tune, have always loved this arcade despite only really playing the one game. The reason however I'm only doing 3 as opposed to 5 is as of lately I've noticed A Mother and Her son (of Chinese Descent) mainly playing maxi tune - which is fine and cool, HOWEVER; They have been nothing but a nuisance- Especially the Son as he is always screaming and dropping F bombs and cursing at other players and kids while the Mother sits by and does nothing other than purposely sits her son next to other kids who do not have a saved data on the game just to take advantage of them as his card data gives a major disadvantage to other kids. Although Maxi Tune Veterans vs Guests from time to time - this mother deliberately encourages her son to race them to get easy wins and points and she makes sure the other kids race him whenever they sit down, purposely starting a race with her kid. THEN she'll whip out her phone and start Recording not only her son but the other players too, but ONLY if he's clearly winning but as soon as someone steps in who is on par with him - puts the phone away. And as mentioned whenever he loses or even gets passed in the game - he SCREAMS with his favourite phrase - the F word and sometimes Saying "F you!!!" to other players and again Mother does nothing?? Other players and customers are fed up with this Mother and Son - PLEASE, do something about...

Worst Customer Service award. Stopped in one Saturday night for a bit of fun. We purchased our card. We made our way to the machines but were having trouble scanning it to start a game. We approached the man behind the counter when we explained the situation and handed him the card to Check. He very rudely turned back to us and said it’s still got the full price we paid on it. I joked as I said “oh it must be the way we’re swiping it” (because we had tried every way) when we very rudely and passive aggressively said “Yeah probably.” While rolling his eyes. He again became passive aggressive while we told us how to properly use the card. We were then off on our way. Unfortunately there wasn’t a wide range of arcade machines. A lot of them were pretty much the same just spread out with different themes and characters Ect. The whole fun house was arranged well with the space they have. But unfortunately probably won’t be back with customer...
