PEDESTRIAN ACCESS OVER THE RIVER TO SOUITHBANK At the moment (August 2022) the whole area is a quite a mess with massive building sites, diversions and barricades but still worth negotiating your way to the bridge and walking over to SouthBank. Be prepared for similar obstructions on the other side as Brisbane is in the midst of a major build. Nice views along the river. Most convenient bridge connecting South Brisbane to Brisbane City. Bus Routes and Public Routes & Bicycle Routes are seperated. But when the green cabs start running this bridge, it is sometimes difficult to overtake them. It's nice to walk on the bridge thru city with beautiful city & river & Ferris wheel views.
