Johnny Ringo's — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Absolutely love this pub. Great atmosphere and always good music till 1pm after that it turns into a pop princess disco.

The service is average. I was there on Saturday night and I wish I was the girl in the pink hats friends cause they were getting freebies all night! And the Asian girl kept count the till, I don’t understand why since we’re almost in a cashless society and I didn’t see any one handing cash over??? generally from my experience if you have someone counting the till that much they are probably pocketing some of your earnings. And at random times through out the night all the bar staff would leave except the glasses and be gone for a decent 15 minutes.

If I was the owner I would hire staff that wanted jobs and liked Working behind the bar.

They finally are using red bull and not mother which can mean your drinks are enjoyable! Hopefully soon they will start using decent vodkas.

Overall the prices are on par with other bars in the city $30 for 2 redbull vodkas is pretty average and a $10...

We had booked this place for a Birthday a few weeks in advance. For a few weeks leading up to the night we were constantly checking and making sure the bull was available for our booking. We were told yeah it will be working on the night. We get there and ask the staff if its good to go, got told yeah just ask the manager to turn it on when we're ready. We eat first and have a few drinks. Food had plastic in it most likely from a storage container. Staff didn't smile and weren't hospitable at all constantly on their phones. We go up to ask to turn the bull on only to be told it's not working and the manager doesn't have the key.

Sometimes things happen and can't be fixed, but if you have people booked in for the night and are specifically wanting the bull, you'd think it would be nice to let them know the only thing they want from this place isn't working so they can find something else.

Overall not a pleasant experience. Also maybe keep the toilets in a somewhat clean condition with handles...

Johnny Ringo's has a good vibe. It's a country style bar/club, obviously the music fits the theme and it's not too bad, so if you have an open mind or it's your style then you'll enjoy.

The staff are good and don't ignore you, so it's easy to get a drink, at a reasonable price. The food is good and soaks up the alcohol. The facilities are clean enough which means that the patrons are decent.

They don't have the mechanical bull anymore which is kind of a let down but understandable due to safety reasons.

Just outside the craziness of the Valley, its Spring Hill, (massive relief for the more reserved people) and not quite in the city. So a good location.
