Oaks Brisbane Aurora Suites is a stunning accommodation choice that perfectly blends modern convenience with a touch of elegance. Situated in the heart of Brisbane, this location offers breathtaking views of the cityscape and river, creating a romantic and relaxing atmosphere for guests. The suites are spacious and well-appointed, providing a luxurious experience whether you’re in town for business or pleasure. A standout feature of Oaks Brisbane Aurora Suites is the fantastic parking facilities, which accommodate larger vehicles up to 2.1 metres in height. This is a rare find in central Brisbane, where parking can often be a hassle. Whether you’re driving a standard car or a higher vehicle, parking here is effortless, making it a great choice for families or travellers with unique vehicle needs. A special mention must be made to Libby, a truly wonderful member of staff who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Her warmth and genuine care make a real difference, and her attention to detail ensures that every guest has a memorable stay. With its excellent location, stunning views, fantastic amenities, and the exceptional service provided by Libby, Oaks Brisbane Aurora Suites is a top choice for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Brisbane in style and comfort.

I’ve never written a review before but felt compelled to warn everyone as we feel the photos are misleading. The photos must be of newer/nicer rooms and perhaps that reflects the better reviews. The room we stayed in was old and dirty. It is in dire need of deep clean/ full renovation. There was hair in the bathroom when we arrived. The carpet was so filthy that we kept our shoes on the entire time. The shower was over a bath and sprays water all over the room. There’s no mop (or vacuum cleaner for that matter) so you cannot mop up that water or maintain cleanliness. They provide less than the bare minimum of cleaning products and nothing for cooking. For example, we stayed multiple nights and were provided with one tiny sachet of dishwashing liquid and one tiny sachet of laundry power. There’s no oil for cooking, no salt and pepper etc. so if you expect to do some laundry and cooking you need to spend money buying everything. They provided a cot but no high chair. We spend the first night desperately looking for alternative accomodation and only decided to suck it up as the location was good for the event that we were attending and we didn’t want to have to fork out more money. It is nowhere near 4 stars. We were deeply disappointed.

Paid $700 a night for a 3 star (at best) hotel experience. The rooms are shabby and dirty. There was a water leak in the wardrobe that came from using the sink in the bathroom. We reported the leak and the staff didn't care. The carpets left your feet black. There was a highly suspect white stain on the couch. The bed covers were stained. The hot water took ages to run through. There were dirty marks and handprints all over the walls. There was food or possibly bodily fluids stuck to wall above the bed in the master bedroom. The shower was tiny over a half size bath which was mouldy and there were numerous cracked tiles. There was no extractor system so the room stayed steamed up. The microwave was filthy, absolutely caked in food. There were broken light switches and bare wires. The toilet was cracked. The timer on the dryer was broken. You had to carry your trash to the first floor and walk up stairs and outside to the dumpsters (handy when you have suitcases and small children). The staff were stand offish, the check in process is longwinded and uneccessary. Overall there was nothing to make us feel welcome or relaxed, nothing luxorious to enjoy. I really wish I read the reviews before we stayed, a huge dissapointment.

I Booked to stay Sat 18th for one night for a wedding along with multiple guests, I called the night before to request an early check-in due to travelling with 2week old baby and attending wedding advised by reception this couldn't be guaranteed however would make a note and call on the day if room was ready before hand.

Once arriving at the hotel we located the carpark and heading up to reception complying with your instructions signs due to covid 'No Mask No Entry' a sign to which it seems your staff do not follow your reception staff wore the masks over their mouth but not over their nose and multiple guests who checked in also were not complying to wearing masks nor were they asked by your staff, even by the manager on shift 'James'. Whilst I understand some guests may be exempt however not one guest was asked to put a mask on.

When in came time for us to check-in we were served by your Trainee on shift, I asked if it was possible to have an early check-in your staff member made a call to housekeeping who advised no rooms were ready and would need to come back at 130, I asked if it was possible for someone to call if the room was ready earlier like I was advised on the phone and told this was not possible as they have too many guests?

We returned as 130pm as advised to then be told our room was still not ready and would be atleast another 20mins, but this time your reception was extremely busy and the staff couldn't keep up with the amount of guests waiting.

We then waited a further 45mins in your reception area by this time it was 215pm and the wedding we were attending was at 245 again I understand your check-in time is 2pm which we took into account when booking  however your staff were extremely miserable and very insincere anything we asked for seemed to be too much trouble.

Finally we were served again by a lovely girl who had just started her shift and was extremely helpful and polite. We tried to utilise your express check-out, which was useless as I called from the room 4 times and not once did someone pick up therefore had to go down to reception line up and check-out.

Overall the room standard wasn't bad however purely relating to your staff service I would most definitely not stay at these apartments again nor would...

I am from Perth and have always been a fan of Oaks apartments when travelling to Adelaide therefore I decided to book Oaks in Brisbane CBD for 2 nights on the last part of our travels in Queensland recently.

After spending 5 days in a well valued spectacular new Meriton apartment in Southport, we were hoping to go out on a high for my partner's birthday in Brisbane CBD. We were initially booked in at Oaks on Margaret however they sadly got flooded and changed our booking to Oaks Aurora Suites. Upon our check in on 10th March we entered the room at Oaks with such disappointment. The apartment had 90's decor and 90's appliances, it was dirty and no maintenance clearly had been done. Not even a smart TV, just a plasma with blue ray player and Foxtel box.

Beware of cleanliness, black mould in the shower, utensils filthy, inside kettle filthy and found used toothpicks on the bathroom floor upon our arrival.

Bathroom door would not close, toilet seat installed on an angle and not centred over the toilet bowl itself, bathroom ceiling ridiculously low where my 6'5" partner kept hitting his head on the light.

Pool filthy with cloudy water and scum around the edging.

Air conditioning was ridiculously cold no matter what setting we adjusted it to so decided to switch off completely.

Maintenance in general is clearly not a priority. Eg. Lift button cover held on by sticky tape which had clearly been there for sometime, one of the lifts had an awful foul smell for 2 days and I could just go on.

$39 per day parking onsite which is a rip off and discovered afterwards we could get it for half the price a short stroll up the road.

Was awoken 7am the first morning by deafening loud drilling sounding like it was coming from directly above us, complained to reception, it stopped for half hour and then continued for the next few hours driving us insane.

The only positives I can say about this property is the location was ideal to walk to everything, staff were friendly and bed was comfortable when we did manage to get some sleep on our 2nd day which was checkout morning. The property itself I feel has been left to rot for the past 20 years with no maintenance/upgrades and is not worth the...

Would never stay here again!!! Firstly we had lunch reservations at 2-30pm and our check-in was 20mins late- but by the time we got into the room it was 3pm. They have 5 lifts to which only 2 appeared to be working so the average wait time was between 10 to 15mins. Due to this we then had to walk 3 floors from the car park to get back to reception then more waiting to get up to the room. The staff at the front counter did not explain how the lifts work so we had to navigate getting backwards and forwards to car park and up to our room. Later in the evening we had dinner with our nephew to which we came back to the room so we could freshen up and we were very aggresively told we had 10mins to go to our room and come back down or else!!!We understand this threat to mean we may be evicted from our room and potentially banned from booking all Oaks properties in future -because we had the audicasty to stop in at our room to allow our nephew to use the toilet. We found this to be a gross overuse of powerr by security staff who quite clearly have zero respect or empathy for guests. Fully understand this is also a residential tower however at our age their assumption that we intended to have some type of party was quite frankly offensive. My husband and I are in our late forties and felt this was absolutely unacceptable as we had paid good money to stay here. Honestly the treatment we received was absolutely disgusting. We travel alot and have stayed in many places all around the world and never been spoken to or felt like this before? We couldn't get out of the place fast enough and feel we should be compensated for such a miserable stay- in fact it was our wedding anniversary and which made things even worse. I would have given 0 stars but the location was good for our lunch reservation! I work in customer service and this place leaves alot to be desired. You should be ashamed...
