had the most unprofessional, awful experience at KFC aspley. I'd already had a long and hard day, all I wanted was convenient food on my way home from work. I ordered on the app and got to the window only to be told they "had no chicken" and to go to the window to talk to a manager. I'm not even sure who the manager was, the young girl I spoke to was in a manger shirt but was talking to others about cooking? She said they could cook my chicken for my $40 order but it would take 20 minutes. I said that's fine and I'll wait. She then said "hang on let me check". Came around the corner and said "actually it will be 50 minutes, do you just want the refund". I asked how the time changed from 20 minutes to 50 and she said because they had no zinger Patties either. I fail to understand how making a handful of chicken fried takes almost an hour. Very upset I said I'll just take a refund and she said ok and left the window. I then sat there waiting for 15 minutes and had to call someone over to ask why i was waiting just for a refund. The same girl came back and asked "oh did you want the refund" when I had already told her that's what I wanted. She then after making me wait all this time proceeded to tell me that she couldn't give me cash or an eftpos refund as it was an online order, which I don't understand as I had that same card with me. That process needs fixing. Anyway. She made me wait all that time just to tell me that she'd have to "process my refund through payroll" and that I'd get an email in 5 business days. I left without food, and without my money back. So I couldn't go and get dinner elsewhere. I am infuriated and so disappointed. I'm beyond understanding with hospitality staff, however this was handled so poorly. I feel like honestly they just didn't feel like cooking more chicken because it would take effort. Updated review: They seem to have hearing issues even when you repeat yourself 3 times at the speaker and at the window. Once they mess up your order like they do every other time they give you every excuse under the sun instead of owning up and doing better training. Terrible attitudes. Only ever have issues with this specific kfc and they get my order wrong EVERY time especially through any ordering apps. They just seem to not want to do their job properly. Do not go to the KFC unless you want something wrong with your order and want to come back 3 times for the order you already asked for and repeated 3 times at the window and speaker. Go to Kedron KFC instead.
Last review: Food is great, however the past 4 times in a row we've been here they have ALWAYS forgotten things and when you try to contact them no one picks up. Need to work on customer service and checking orders properly. Forget things every now and then sure, mistakes happen. But forgetting things 24/7 and never picking up the phone is just slack. Not only that, whenever we order online and send the order through before we come and yet we still have to wait? Skip the queue doesn't really work when you still have to wait 20 minutes...
Read moreThis would have to be the worst KFC store in Queensland. Seriously. I now vow never to return again and will make the extra 15min journey to get my fix else where. Consistent greasy, oil laden chicken, no fair allocation of pieces, why lets put in 6 wings in a 12 piece box attitude. When I returned to give back the chicken, the explanation by the manager Rebecca, the greasier the fresher! because they are busy, can't drain, ( great quality control) strange I was the only person in the store - must have been busy. The skin was falling away, looking like a dogs breakfast, but apparently, that was another key indicator to its "freshness" so other stores have it wrong! the greasier ( fall out of the bottom of the box greasy) the more the skin falls away from the flesh of the chicken in oil filled chunks the better, now I am better educated! , half money refunded, despite I had to travel 15 minutes to return to the store,( kept the chips and nuggets for the children to eat) especially after voicing concerns PRIOR to placing order, that my last experience there was less than satisfactory Very unprofessional KFC Aspley, will share on facebook and hopefully others will not...
