Reminiscing about my university days when I would frequently enjoy takeout from Miss India in Red Hill (now closed), I decided to visit the Miss India outlet in Aspley for lunch, hoping to relive those cherished memories. Sadly, the experience fell short of my expectations, particularly with their butter chicken and naan. The butter chicken, once rich and flavourful, now lacked depth in taste and had a surprisingly runny sauce. The naan, an integral part of my order, was a further letdown. It was quite burnt, and the garlic was bitter, a stark contrast to the freshly made, delicious garlic cheese naan I used to rave about at Miss India. The disappointment was compounded by the fact that I spent $40 on the meal, expecting the high quality I used to enjoy. It's disheartening to see such a change in standards at a place I once highly recommended.

Editing my prior 4 star review: I ordered again through Uber today because the food was so tasty but really unhappy with the portion sizes for the prices being charged. I ordered a large chicken korma dish and a regular eggplant dish which cost $32 (minus delivery & Uber charges) it was 36 total. If the servings were large, i don’t mind paying money for good food but the “large” chicken dish basically fills a ‘regular’ standard plastic container. The “regular” eggplant dish fills a ‘small’ standard plastic container. I have kept a ‘1 cup’ measuring tool for scale. This is daylight robbery and I’m really unhappy with this type of service behaviour. Please change this. Prior review: We dined in, the food was fresh and really tasty! It was the only place open on Easter weekend and so glad I came. The staff were lovely!

Ordered two curries, one rice and one naan bread. Total cost was $50 and these are the curries we received. Don't waste your time, go to another restaurant. You will receive twice as much food for the same cost

The Service my family received last night was the rudest ever! The young girl thought us ordering for our large family was funny (mind you some were still at home) she started laughing her head off when we asked for 10 naan breads that she hide behind the counter. We just spent over $100+ and this is how we were treated and as a sorry they tried to give us 2 pappadums like that would fix the laughing at us, the talking behind our back In their language, putting her hand up gesturing what we had order and more.... Little does this girl know that night we had before we had a serious family situation occur, so this really put us in another place of hurt.

This was our first time coming to Miss India Aspley, as we like to go support all different places but we will definitely be going somewhere else in the future that appreciates our money and respects their customers!

The food was not the best plus you get like 5% chicken , 95% sauce hence why so many of the family wanted naans aswell.

I just think the owners really need to take more action and responsibility for the way this girl acted last night! It's disgraceful and...
