Koko Sushi — Restaurant in Brisbane City

From time to time I have enjoyed nice sushi but this time I had a close look at the menu pictures and thought I would spend more for two dinners and get something special for my husband. I selected a Karaage and a beef bowl for $13.90 each. Big mistake because both dishes were 90% - 95% gluggy inedible old rice. The beef was one spoonful spread on one edge of the bowl, and was overcooked and almost unidentifiable as beef. The Karaage seemed like it was also reheated and had no crunch or crispiness. Also just glug in the mouth. So ordinary and disappointing. And expensive. Both meals were fluffed up with a bit of lettuce for appearance. Don't be fooled by the menu pictures. Great value for money, always get a bento box and edamame whenever I order from Menulog. I normally have terrible luck with with restaurants on food delivery services but can say Koko Sushi is super consistent, every time I get food it’s always perfectly cooked with nothing wrong or out of place. The dressing they put on the the salad in the bento is unlike anything I’ve tasted before, it’s almost like an apple based dressing. I asked for the wait time and was told 10-15 mins. 30 mins later I ask when it will be ready and the server simply walked into the back of the restaurant, ignored me and asked for the next customer. This happened to other customers there too. I can see they only care about the delivery orders. When I finally got my food there wasn’t even an apology. Can clearly see they have no clue about customer service. I was left with less than 10 mins to eat my food...
