This place is incorrectly named... it gives no dezire to be there by customers or staff! We walked in to an empty shop, received no greeting, no acknowledgment that we were even there, even though we walked right in front of her to pick up the menu. The young girl stood at the counter staring off out through the glass windows, not present at all, then as she came back to wherever she was dreaming of, took her hair out of her ponytail and began running her hands through her hair... sorry love your not touching my food after that! And don't even get me started on the prices, we simply got up and walked out and I don't even think she noticed.. Coffee service was surly and slooooow
Almond croissant was cold and stale.
The Atlantic salmon Benedict had COLD HOLLANDAISE, COLD ATLANTIC SALMON that smelt and tasted funny. The sourbread toast wasn't toasted. It was a very cold and gross dish. They didn't ask me how the meal was even taking it away half eaten she walked away even when I volunteered that it didn't taste great.
I came out for a special breakfast with my son and was utterly disappointed.
Top dollar prices for disgusting food and beyond terrible service.
Never. Again.

Cafe Dezire is sooo good, the coffee is fantastic!!,it's easy to see the friendly staff take great pride in delivering quality service and the freshest quality food made to order , I have tried so many cafes over the years and Cafe Dezire is 5 stars through and through ,don't just take my word for it, try it and you may just run in to a famous public figure or sporting star having breakfast or lunch as they frequent there regularly , keep up the great work...
