I wanted to pay with cash so I went to the counter to place my order. There were staff in the kitchen but they all had their backs to me. I saw that there was a bell at the counter so I rang it once and then one of the staff turned around, said “Wait” and then turned back to continue with what she was doing. The attitude felt off, but I waited anyway. When she came to take my order, she looked super annoyed and after I finished ordering, she started walking over to me with the payment machine. I wanted to pay by cash and was confused so I asked “Can I pay by cash?” to which she rolled her eyes as if I was asking the most ridiculous question ever, and said “Yes.” Then she put the payment machine away.

But from the moment I finished placing my order, not once did she let me know how much the total was. So strange! I didn’t have the menu with me either and of course I’m not going to memorise the price. She just stood there staring at me while I looked at my wallet. I asked her how much it was and she, super annoyed, told me the total. I gave her cash which she picked up with the ends of her fingertips since she was wearing a glove.

She didn’t take the glove off to handle cash!!! Just took it with the ends of her fingertip and thought that was hygienic enough! I saw someone raise the same problem in an earlier review, so it doesn’t seem like this is a one-time thing.

My friend sitting at the table noticed the whole ordeal and asked me what was up with that staff the second I went back to the table, so yeah, it wasn’t me being sensitive.

This was my first time dining here and will be my last. My friend has dined here before and said that the staff who attended to her was super sweet, so she was disappointed too with this experience.

I really hope that instead of responding harshly, the owner or whoever is managing the responses can really look into this and provide feedback to their staff. Nobody wants to be on the receiving end of horrible attitude.

Disgusting Experience – Never Coming Back This place served me the worst Banh Mi I’ve ever had — hands down. I ordered a chicken Banh Mi, but what I got tasted like it was made from the leftover rind of boiled chicken feet. It was tough, chewy, and honestly borderline inedible.

The tables were sticky, the whole place felt grimy, and the air smelled stale. The staff couldn’t care less — not a single smile, no greeting, and when I approached the counter, the woman taking orders looked like I was ruining her day just by showing up. She barely made eye contact and acted like she was doing me a favour by even acknowledging me.

And then there was this older lady who just stood there, staring at me the whole time like I didn’t belong. It got worse — she coughed into her elbow and then used the same gloves to handle food without changing them. Absolutely revolting.

While I was trying to order, the cashier ignored me completely, chatting away to another staff member in her own language for a full five minutes, like I wasn’t even there. I honestly should’ve walked out right then.

This place is a hygiene nightmare with rude staff and disgusting food. Do yourself a favour — don’t waste your time or your stomach. Zero stars. Never...
