I've hardly ever written any reviews or feedbacks on restaurant because I used to work in customer service and I do understand the challenges. However, my experience was once of the worst I have ever seen with regards to customer service.
Myself and a few people went there and asked if there were seats available, the staff at the counter gave us a bit of so-called "stink eye" and asked us to grab ourselves a table outside. (minus 1) And so we did. Another staff brought out one menu for us and before we could even have a look, the counter staff came out and asked what we would like for drink. We told her we need a bit of time to look over the menu, but she did not seem to be very happy with us for some reason. (minus 2) Since we only had one menu, we had to take turn to pick what we wanted. That was when the counter staff, again, came out and asked if we are ready to order. We said we were not ready (there was only a single menu for 4 of us) and, again, received another attitude (minus 3). She rushed back in and told the other staff to come out and tell us to go inside and order once ready (I felt like it was our fault that we could not order within 5' being there) (minus 4). There were even more attitude throwing around in the air when we came in to order, but I am just going to leave it at that.
I would never come back again to get treated like I was begging for food. None of us (who used to work in the industry) could find anything positive about the counter staff. Big thumb up for the other staff who was very...

During my visit to Brisbane, I stopped for lunch at Kaffir and Lime in Milton. It turned out to be a great choice, offering delicious food and drinks in a bright and welcoming setting.
I started with a smoothie called the Mizzy, which was great. It had a refreshing blend of strawberries, orange, mango, and yogurt, creating a nice balance of sweetness and creaminess. Honestly, it was one of the best smoothies Iāve ever had.
For my main meal, I ordered the chicken curry. Iād never eaten Vietnamese food before. It was simple but satisfying, with a rich, fragrant sauce and tender chicken. The portion size was generous, making it a comforting and filling meal.
The restaurantās interior was bright and clean, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly, chatty, and welcoming, making the experience feel warm and intimate. The staff made an effort to engage with customers in a genuine way, which added to the restaurantās charm.
Overall, Kaffir and Lime is a fantastic spot for Vietnamese food in Brisbane. The combination of high-quality dishes, outstanding drinks, a pleasant setting, and excellent service makes it well worth a visit. Iād definitely return next time Iām...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely Amazing !!! Came here on recommendation and was not disappointed. I ordered the Pork Banh Mi Roll & Almond flat white. Iāve had banh mi rolls in other places but had found them sickly sweet but here the flavors were nicely balanced & refreshing. Fresh crusty roll with soft inside, yummy pork & each bite had crunchy crackling in it. I took a bite, wrapped it up then was about to drive home...But ended up sitting there finishing the whole thing. You had that nice Satisfied feeling afterwards that you just ate something substantial. The coffee Almond f/Wvery good & Almond milk fresh. Almond flat white can be hit & miss in a lot of places & some go for the cheap inferior type, but was very impressed with the coffee I had here. This place is now on my favorites list, want to try the breakfast...
