I am a long-time customer of your store and am submitting a formal complaint regarding a recent incident of severe mistreatment that occurred at your location. On the day in question, while waiting at your store as an Uber delivery driver for a store employee to prepare a hot beverage for an order, I was publicly and unjustly reprimanded by the store manager. The manager exhibited extremely poor customer service, using harsh and even racially discriminatory language, and made baseless accusations against my professional conduct. What is even more unacceptable is that the manager refused to provide his name or employee ID number and repeatedly attempted to prevent me from filing a complaint regarding this matter. When I requested to view the storeâs surveillance footage, the manager responded with an arrogant attitude, not only failing to assist me but instead escalating the situation by scolding me further. This incident has caused severe emotional and psychological harm to me. I feel humiliated, angry, and anxious. As a long-time loyal customer of the McDonald's brand, I had previously held high confidence in your company's corporate culture and service quality. However, this experience has completely eroded my trust in your company. Following the incident, to protect my legitimate rights and interests and bring this matter to your attention, I have formally filed complaints with the Australian Consumer Protection Agency and the Queensland Human Rights Commission. This incident not only harmed my mental health but also tarnished McDonald's reputation in the public eye. Given the above circumstances, I demand that your company conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and issue a public apology to me. Additionally, I will seek reasonable compensation for mental distress to compensate for the harm caused by this incident. I believe your company values customer rights and employee conduct standards, and I hope your company will take this matter seriously, implement effective improvement measures, and restore my trust in the McDonald's brand. Thank you for your attention to this complaint letter. I look forward to your formal response and proactive resolution of...
Read moreUnbelievably poor experience at this McDonaldâs (1920 Logan Road). Iâve been to many McDonaldâs stores and this one consistently has the worst service Iâve ever experienced.
Today was the tipping point. I ordered two coffees in the drive-thru â no cars behind me â and the staff (Caylee, who is apparently a manager) told me to park in the waiting bay. I replies Iâd prefer to wait at the window since it was just two coffees. She then told me, âIf you donât park, I wonât make your coffee.â Excuse me?
Instead of just making the coffee (which takes what, a minute?), she chose to argue. I asked for a refund, and she acted like I was beneath her â of course, itâs not her money anyway.
The attitude was rude and dismissive, and honestly shocking coming from a manager. No wonder the storeâs culture is so bad â staff are often chatting while taking orders, not greeting customers, slow service, and clearly zero focus on customer experience.
People come to McDonaldâs for convenience and speed â not power-tripping managers wasting your time. Itâs embarrassing for the brand. I wouldnât be surprised if staff like Caylee mock customers after they leave, based on the vibe here.
McDonaldâs spends millions on advertising to build its brand, and employees like this destroy it in seconds....
