Milki is a dessert shop which offers a range of creamy sweets like parfaits, milk tea, ice cream, waffles and etc. Price for the food is fair.
My friends and I got the parfaits which was delicious. The ingredients of the parfait can change depending on which one you choose. It primarily consisted of ice cream, mochi, cereal, chiffon cake, jelly, red beans and the milki logo wafer biscuit. You are able to select a variety of flavours; the most popular being the ube and macha. I was not a fan of the jelly as it was bitter and reminded me of eating paw paw fruit but that was personal preference since my friends didn't mind them.
The place can feel very cozy with nice lighting and atmosphere but there are only limited tables and spots. Regular spots when dining in for the most part are your usual public shopping centre tables.
Customer service was nothing special. It was however very efficient and fast. Similar to most Chinese places, they prioritise speed and efficiency which I can understand.
All in all I would say it makes for a fantastic dessert place after dinner with reasonable prices, product variety and efficient service. I personally would like to see more interaction between staff and customers whether it's checking in if its satisfactory or just adding some nice friendly conversation instead of the usual word for...
Read moreNice to get a late night dessert/bingsoo. The desserts are beautifully presented and the store itself is super cute.
However, if you get the smaller size - it WILL be messy to eat. We didn’t feel like a massive dessert so we got the small one. It was filled generously, which is great, but literally once we put the spoon in, it spilt everywhere. The cream on top even slid down (and the condensed milk) and it was kinda chaos from there. I think the small size would probably be better in a small dish, to prevent this from happening. With the current design, not only was there a lot of mess, but it also meant that we couldn’t mix it well/ get the stuff at the bottom of the cup until the end.
It was a nice dish but it could probably be presented in a more practical way- both for the customer and also the staff (as the cleanup was pretty bad, even though we tried our best to clean as much as possible).
I’d come again but probably come in a large group so I can just get the larger size and avoid the...

Tucked away in a little corner of Sunnypark shopping centre is Milki Desserts - a great place to try bingsu: a korean shaved sweet ice dessert.
Ambience: the store itself is simple, with welcome seating, though the store front is open directly to the shopping centre so isn't a cosy space.
Service: prompt, friendly and simple.
Food: we tried the Ube (not Taro - a sweet yam, with gentle earthy vanilla flavour) soft serve, ube bingsu and milk tea bingsu.
The soft serve was creamy and not overly sweet - which is perfect for those who enjoy desserts that aren't sickly.
Both bingsu were a delight. The texture is chilled and an airy melt in your mouth. The lightness is then complemented by the crunch of cornflakes, and sweetness is provided by the tapioca pearls on the side. The dish is just about over until you realise there is also flavoured jelly at the bottom - so be sure to mix the bingsu for that...
