One of our worst dining experiences ever. For starters we were allocated benches to sit on and not chairs. How unusual when everyone else in the restaurant were seated on chairs. The spring rolls came out soon enough...over $2.10 each the size of an index finger with hardly any insides! The minuscule amount of sauce which accompanied these rolls was enough for only one roll and not for 4! Very stingy, indeed. The curry puffs were reasonable but also small with 'mushy' insides. After waiting patiently for over 1 hour for the mains to come out we inquired as to what happened to them. . When they did eventually come out, the incorrect dishes were placed before each of us . The lamb(the small quantity provided) was tasteless, the vegetables accompanying the meal were not was was indicated on the menu and there was a distinct lack of any Thai taste whatsoever. We wondered how this place could get so much so wrong. WORST THAI MEAL IN BRISBANE EVER! Value for money was disgusting! We eat Thai often and this was just plainly...
Read moreThis is my first time going to this restaurant and I wanted to dine-in but she really didn't want to,she just kept offering take away. I am reading there dine in menu from the front entrance and then she give me another menu with higher prices on them but both our dine-in menus? I wanted satay on my hokkien noodles but she refused to do a because in their mind it's "yucky". Firstly, I didn't ask for her opinion secondly, thats offensive. I love flavorful Tom Yum Gung here(Thai spicy prawn soup and I can hv only medium spicy one, too weak to go for Thai spicy..) and addicted to Pork fried rice, maybe the smell or taste or Singha beer or all of it that make a great mix for our happy dinner. I'm not sure.
The service here is always great and friendly(shoutout to Tippi and Kookkai!). They also have a good range of beer selection as well as other drinks. If ever we are in the area and have a craving for Thai food, we most likely...
