Royal Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I was with a friend a couple of weeks ago because we were coming back from a long trip there, to get a pair of pants for my cosplay at supernova. We knew it was going to be a long train ride back so we decided to pop in to have a quick break and to try it.

My friend is on a Keto diet, so she couldn't really eat anything. She planned on just having like a coffee but then the nice people said that every food there is handmade, being like sugar and gluten free because one of them are on a keto diet too! So she ordered a muffin as well and it was really good for a sugar and wheat free muffin! I know because I tried a bit myself. 😋 I had myself a salted caramel cookie and it was really good as well.

Very well priced for broke teens 😂 Or for people that just want a good meal or snack that they don't have to spend much on.

I drove down from the Sunshine Coast, especially to experience the new Royal Cafe. My first impression; Very nice, and that was just the outside. Stepping in I'm taken by how bright, clean, and modern the Royal Cafe is. After being welcomed, before placing an order, I firstly expressed that the desserts cabinet is the nices full display of delicious looking yummies I have ever seen in a Cafe. I ordered a Latte and a giant home made sausage roll: yes that's right, "Giant and home made" a meal in itself that didn't cost the earth. Now! Being very conscious of my food quality intake, sausage rolls are something which I never buy; but! I will be down in Brisbane again in three weeks, and I will definitely be back at the Royal Cafe for another Giant all-meat sausage roll and a quality-plus Latte. Royal Cafe also support local industry by serving coffee purchased from the Gold Coast, which is in my opinion a far more satisfying and of higher quality than many of the over priced imported brands. My partner, 3 kids and I spotted this little cafe as we were driving past and noticed the menu which caught our interest. There was something for everyone, the kids loved their pies, sausage rolls and toasties, even going back for seconds. My partner and I shared a bowl of Spaghetti which was delicious and such great value for money, the coffee and banana bread was divine and the bacon and egg roll delish!
