Holy Basil Thai & Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Brisbane City

HOLY BASIL WINDSOR. I believe I found the most incredible Thai Cusine establishment that I can ever say is by far one of the best restaurants for clean and authentic cuisine Thai food ever. The setting is quaint and excellent with culture and atmosphere, the service is more than adequate and I can see that the proud staff there are muchly deserving praise because this Holy Basil Thai Restaurant is superb. My first visit I ordered was the Satay Chicken noodle. Served on a large crockery spiddle plate the Satay Chicken noodle was excellent. The sauce is by far the most authentic I have tasted. Followed by a equally decent traditional Thai style desert. 10 out of ten. My second visit, just to check, was a Chicken and pork version and same equally excellent result. Visited this place on a Monday night, I was delighted by the quality of our main meals and the inhouse made drinks. Prices were great and the staff were professional and made a night out for my partner and I rather pleasent.

The restaurant itself is rather small, with seating for maybe 20 people tops. This could make a family night out or busy Friday night a little more cramped and unpleasant. We had the mixed entree to start, and most of it was delicious, however did not enjoy the fish cakes which tasted more like a burnt mini omelette. Mains were significantly more pleasant, Yellow Curry and Chicken Laksa delighted our Palates and left us without a heavy feeling even though we ate quite a lot.

My hubby and I stumbled across this outstanding restaurant when we were visiting the area. No clue what the other Thai is like near by but we would 110% recommend Holy Basil Thai! Beautiful experience with incredible hospitality and little thoughtful touches by the staff, 10/10 food and unbelievable price for the lunch special! $13.90 for loads of chicken and veg, rice PLUS a drink!
