Paid $31.90 for two value boxxes, an ”otroposaurus rex” combo or something like that.

The lady serving at the counter was lovely, she recounted the order back to me just to confirm. All good.

However, the food was slack mate let me tell you.

The chips were not seasoned, you can count on my photo like what 9 individual little unsalted chips?😂

The chicken tenders, tasted good. Unfortunately it seems they were cross contaminated as there were fries and something else that tasted like burnt plastic that appeared to have been cooked with the chicken. The seemingly plastic material in my tender nearly made me tap out to be honest, no way am I about to throw up in carindale food court.

The burger had an adequate yet really cheap nasty burger bun, chicken serving on burger was like a ration of chicken, lacklustre in flavour. Pineapple slice was typical canned usual business.

Beware of bones! And other undisclosed ingredients. Bought a “Shredded chicken bowl” today and found it to contain quite a few extras that weren’t listed on the menu description. No real concern until half way through a random chicken bone decided to try and jam itself though my cheek. Certainly put me off eating anymore but these things happen, took the bowl back to the counter and showed them the bone. That is where I learned my lesson! Staff said “That is why there is a warning sticker on the lid!” No apology, no sympathy or any attempt to offer to remake, replace or refund. Then instead of even offering to dispose of the bowl they proceeded to tell me there are bins in the foodcourt! Tried oporto with my partner yesterday for the first time. Everything was excellent and we were pleasantly surprised and genuinely impressed. The chips were fresh, the burgers were great and the 1/4 chicken was moist and delicious. We'll definitely be returning to this oporto, they're giving the kfc by them a run for their money especially considering how we went in about 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday and their service was that impressive!!
