Delicious coffee buns on par with what I would often get back home in Malaysia <3 I remember them being warmer and a little crispier than what we got here at Pappa Roti, but I'm probably nitpicking. The butter filling really hits the spot!! They also sell boxes of kuih at the counter. There are some tables and chairs around the shop that are comfortable enough, and in a semi-enclosed space away from the sun. My friend pointed out just how good the area smelled which I think is a bonus if you're eating in. Love this place, we can't leave without stopping by after a meal at Market Square ^-^

Very expensive bun for what it is, $3.60. Although it did have a very addictive coffee fragrance. My disappointment today was, I ordered 2 TehTarik, both iced milk tea have markedly different colours. The hot tea was as it should, the other iced teas were so watered down or diluted, it lacks flavour. I should have taken a picture of that really watered down iced tea, I felt sorry for the person drinking it. There should be a standard / consistency in its preparation. It would be a plus it they offer Malaysian Kopi. This half hearted set up was a let down. Too expensive for disappointment.

I've been in Australia for about 3 weeks and I've been to this place 3 times already! I love PappaRoti's buns! This is a really good desert place!

The bun is AMAZING! It has a subtle coffee taste, the top is crispy like a pineapple bun and it's really soft on the inside. It's also nice and warm!

The bun is $2.50AUD, with an add on (gelato, or condense milk) it's $4.50AUD and with milk tea it's $5.50AUD. I've been getting the bun with gelato. I've had durian, wildberry and black sesame gelato. The durian gelato has to be my favourite so far! The bun is delicious with condense milk too!

I think I'll be here...

Terrible customer service from the man working at the till. I was excited to finally try this place as it’s one of my favorite desserts, and I drove an hour to get there. When I arrived, I noticed there were flies on the buns. I asked the man at the counter when they would be making fresh, hot ones, and he responded with a very blunt, “I don’t know.” And that was it. No effort to help, just a complete lack of interest. Not sure if he was even working or just wishing his shift was over. Unfortunately, I decided to leave. It’s such a shame, because I was really hoping to support...
