Sugar Puff Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

One of the preferred locations to visit in this Sunnybank dining district. So many food options are available.

But the preferred dessert venue, Sugar Puff. Being Portuguese, I'm always a sucker for the Portuguese Tarts, even the imitation ones 😉

But this time, I had to try one of their large strawberry sugar puff waffles 🧇

For starters, the waffle itself tastes fantastic on its own, as each bubble creates a pocket of air, making the overall consistency smooth and delicate compared to dense European waffles.

It is filled with ice cream and other toppings depending on your selection.

While the service was somewhat friendly, they can get busy, and perhaps this was showing with the staff simply handing out people's order without smiling.

Visit Sunnybank for lunch or dinner and give Sugar Puff a try...

Really disappointed in the drinks we were served. I ordered the mango, pomelo, sago drink and it had no flavour of mango what so ever and the drink was foamy. They also added what I think is peach gum which had no flavour what so over and there was absolutely no sign of any pomelo. My partner ordered the raspberry sparkling which was super sweet and came with popping pearls which wasn't listed on the menu. They were pretty average pearls too with a strange after taste. Literal scam

Charged me $8 for soy pudding that was LESS THAN HALF the size of what served in sweet dessert shop (the one down the end at market square) which costed me only $4.5

basically paid $8 for something’s worth $2

Also their soy pudding tasted like what’s sold at asian mart ($5 for 800g ish)

Wanted to ask for refund so bad but then it’s just $8 :) they scammed you for small amount of money that u didn’t even want to waste ur time arguing but definitely would...
