Queens bapsang — Restaurant in Brisbane City

One of the most satisfying meals I’ve eaten since we moved to Brisbane earlier this year. Ordered the Dosirak lunch box with option of beef bulgogi. It came with gimbap and an assortment of fried seafood and veg but I don’t eat pork so I had to ask the cashier if the gimbap and dumplings could be done without. It was no problem!

Well balanced with a nice variation of meat and veg ✔️ Good value for money ✔️ Super fast service ✔️ Authentic - wait staff were all Korean ✔️

I got my food within 5 minutes of sitting down. The service was great, they even saw I had no drink and asked if I wanted water. Who needs fast food burgers when you have this?? The only thing missing for me was kimchi but you can’t have everything.

DO NOT COME!!!! I had questions and provided feedback to the owner when our food were served lukewarm, the owner promised food were made fresh, yes maybe hours ago during the day!!! We had fried chicken and they were literally served within 3 minutes, barely warm, the kids meal rice dish served almost cold. We gave restaurant the basic respect given being new and moved on, however now I had to share that our whole family got food poisoning after we got home, my little boy suffered the most, whole night throwing up with bile and now I'm making doctors appointment in the middle of the night!!! I visited Queen's bapsang for the first time, and based on reviews, I decided to try the recommended dishes like seafood soft tofu stew, galbitang and stir-fried squid. I ordered the galbitang and stir-fried squid, and the squid was incredibly tender, with a delicious sauce that made me feel like I was enjoying authentic Korean-style squid after a long time. The galbitang had very soft meat with excellent quality. The staff was friendly, and the flavors were not overly spicy, providing a true "home-cooked" meal experience.
