The food is OK but unfortunately the service can be really slow and it seems the staff on the Saturday don't communicate very well with each other. I had ordered my meal and after about 10 minutes of sitting down waiting, I stood in front of the counter - the girl who had taken my order could clearly see me standing there and yet my order just sat there, uncovered , out in the open, going cold just near where the Chef had left it-. I waited another 8 or 9 minutes before I asked if that was my order and then a guy came out from the back , wrapped it up and passed it over the counter. I commented that I couldn't understand how it was sitting there all that time and no-one seemed to know what to do. Surely the girl that took my order could see me standing there like a stick in the mud wandering what was going on??? The guy apologized and made me a fresh order. It just seemed the communication between the workers was almost non-existent.
Maybe they were just having a bad day- it wasn't busy so anyway , I will try again as the food is really yummy , Hopefully the boss sees this review and has a talk to...
Read moreIt was a very unpleasant experience and if I could would rather to rate 0 star. All four items we ordered didn’t taste good at all. lemongrass beef was over dehydrated and hard as rock. Way too much soggy carrots and cucumbers shred and aged lettuce in the bowl and the sandwich. Not enough sauce. I have been eating many times in other rolld stores and non taste as pool quality like this. Even worse, we saw the staff packing our fried sweet potato chip, one was dropped on the floor, and he immediately picked up and put it back in the package. We asked and he claimed that he threw it away. We refused to take that pack and another staff helped us to switch to something else. It makes me really worried about their hygiene standards and how they train the staff. We only eat a few bit and have to throw everything a way. I hate wasting food but that’s really hard...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience here. It was my first time trying Pho, and I wanted to make sure I was ordering correctly. I asked the girl at the counter (her name was Ha) if the tofu & veggie option contained egg, since in some places egg is considered vegetarian. I asked her twice just to be certain, but her response was extremely rude and dismissive.
As a first-time customer, this left a very negative impression. If someone doesn’t enjoy working with customers, they shouldn’t be at the front counter. Good service is just as important as good food, especially when you want to introduce your cuisine to people from different nationalities and backgrounds.
Unfortunately, because of this experience, I didn’t feel welcomed or encouraged...
