I recently visited startbucks drawn in by the cozy atmosphere and promising menu, but I must say, I was thoroughly disappointed with the coffee. In all my years of enjoying different blends and brews, this was unfortunately one of the worst cups I’ve ever tasted.

The coffee was bitter to the point of being almost undrinkable, with a burnt aftertaste that lingered unpleasantly. It lacked the depth and balance that one expects from a well-brewed cup. The beans seemed either over-roasted or of poor quality, and the preparation didn’t do anything to improve the experience. Even the texture was off – instead of a smooth, rich consistency, it felt thin and watery, offering no satisfaction with each sip.

I was hoping the atmosphere would be redeemed by a great cup of coffee, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I tried adding milk and sugar to see if it would improve things, but even that couldn’t mask the overwhelming bitterness and unpleasant flavor.

For a place that seems to pride itself on its coffee, this was a major letdown. I hope this feedback encourages them to reevaluate their brewing methods and bean selection. Coffee lovers deserve better, and with some changes, they might just deliver on what they promise. Until then, I won’t be...

I love coming here, I’m here almost every day and the atmosphere can be very calm, and then bustling with energy. The coffees I get are usually always the same and I love them! sometimes when I make a Mistake in ordering they fix it up for me right away and without making it a fuss! Always so kind and lovely! I usally always sit down stairs and in a corner away from eveyone so I can study in piece and not have to worry about someone looking over my shoulder or looking at what I’m doing when they walk pass. BUT, one of the only concerns I have is why there is no public restroom for this Starbucks? It is a massive store and a lot of the times I’ve had to leave a really good spot to have to cross the road just to go to the toilet. It can get pretty annoying as I have to leave a perfectly good spot and then have to trek back as I’m usually sitting for at least 3+ hours. I don’t know why a public restroom wasn’t in the building plans, the room that’s section off for meetings could potentially be used as a bathroom instead as that’s more convenient than meetings at a Starbucks… really hope that you guys...

UPDATE: STAFF VERY RARELY CHECK VACCINATION STATUS. Been here daily recently, and only once was my vaccination status checked. Plus it is getting dirtier inside with a lot of cleaning not being done. Very disappointing Starbucks. There are no customer toilets here, the closest being at the food court in Davy Jones down the street. Which makes staying here for a long time rather impractical. There are charging points for various devices, plus free WiFi available to. So studying or working while you enjoy a coffee is easy. Add to this how dirty the place is, noting I have watched staff give a cursory wipe of a single table then looked at and ignored all others, including very messy ones with drink stains and food remnants on. Seats often have food on and need cleaning to. Plus trash on the floor in many places. Feels like the staff don't care about the look and feel of the place If there were toilets, and the place was cleaner and tidier, it would have been rated far higher. On the whole a poor cafe, recommend...

The atmosphere here is great! Plenty of tables, open areas, and lots of natural light. The service here also is excellent! The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The coffee, however, is average at best, which really is due to the awesome local coffee culture in Brisbane. Starbucks usually is pretty good coffee, worldwide, but when in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, it just becomes average, at best, given the amazing Australian coffee culture at local neaby shops just can't be matched. A great thing about Starbucks, though, is that they are open on the weekends (rare for coffee shops in the city) and they don't impose any weekend or card payment surcharges, which I appreciate.

Very spacious place but the people at the counter have no customer service skills whatsoever, Chia, one of the girls who didn't wear a name tag but was at the cashier was really rude to me. Please hire people that have learnt about customer service, if it wasn't raining I would've gone to another place, the girl at the cashier was awful only to me, racism?? I won't stand it, for all I have observed, she looked latina too!! And there's nothing wrong with that so why didn't I get same kindness as the gentlemen before me? Just because I bought half price cinnamon roll cos I'm in a tight budget at the moment??? Shame on you guys to have this happened!!

My husband ordered Grande Hibiscus tea mix with honey and requested additional honey on the side but when he tasted it when he got to his office. The tea taste so bland because they didn’t mix any honey on it. Good thing we requested for additional honey which he paid for it. He’s a big fan of Teavanas and not a coffee drinker and he only go there for the tea but this is the worst experience he encountered at Starbucks. I hope you can make a better drink for him next time.
