Side Street Espresso — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Tried to ignore the poor service from this place for 12 months, but today I've realised it's now time to give feedback. This is one of those businesses where you can tell the owner and/or manager simply doesn't want to be there the moment you walk in the door. This place consists of rude and abrupt service, no air conditioning and average coffee. Today I was asked to wait outside for my coffee (presumably because I wasn't wearing a mask) then required to walk back inside the venue to collect the coffee. Not a very welcoming venue, avoid! I'll walk the extra 5 mins to starbucks from now on for better quality coffee,...

Walked in happy to start the day, got coffees take away, worst customer service to the point I nearly asked for my money back, then proceeded to come in later to get breakfast I walked in and said do you do bacon and egg rolls the look on her face was enough so I walked out, mind you a lot of other cafes are well known about your cafe, because people walk out and go somewhere else, great coffee but girls you need to get your issue resolved, get a team who can work together Because of your attitude...

Staff are very friendly and the prices are definitely reasonable given the quality. One of the few cafes in Brisbane that can heat soya milk well. In addition, the staff are always efficient and are doing an amazing job considering the staff shortage that Brisbane is facing. I wish more people recognised the pressure hospitality is under with so many jobs and such few staff.
