Before I begin this review just know that this is a review of this subway relative to other subways, not about how subways in general are.
I got a ordered a double meat chicken classic a while ago and some other items. When I received my sub it was flatter than normal and when I bit into it, I only found a single layer of chicken. So I opened the subway, and only saw one layer of schnitzel.
So I call them and politely told them I believe there maybe a mistake with my order. The lady snapped back at me saying “no, no there isn’t. And do you know how I know? Because I packed that sub.” So I went back and checked the subway again and indeed there was a hidden layer of schnitzel underneath. I really didn’t like her attitude but it was my mistake so I didn’t want to make fuss.
(To give myself a bit of an excuse, the reason that I would have made this mistake is because the usual subway I order from, the one from Saint Lucia, would be packed full of vegetables and salad ontop of the choice of protein. But the Saint Lucia one was closed so I had to come to this one)
This happened quite a while ago. But recently I ordered a footlong meatball melt. I found that there’s hair in the sandwich and the lettuces (either that or the tomatoes) were off.
To me so far, this restaurant has just been a collection of bad experiences and I would be damned if I ever go...
Read moreOn 23 August 2020 around 2:00 pm, I visited in Subway Indoopilly central with my daughter who wanted some sandwiches.
The menu was behind the counter, and I could hardly read it because it was too far away from the counter. They didn't prepare any take away menus near the counter. Is every customer suppose to remember all the menus??
While my daughter and I am thinkig about the menu, struggling to read the menu that was far away, the elderly female staff kept asking me.
"Do you need anything?" I wish she could give me a little time to make a decision.
I felt like she wanted us to order and leave the store as quickly as possible. She also complained to me for putting the catering menu back as I picked it up to know their menu but found it was not what I was looking for. Her tone was very rude and impolite.
I picked it up and took it and felt very embarased. If they don't want customers to put the menu back, they should put a warning sign for the customers.
I didn't order anything and left the store. I know that the staff didn't care whether I make an order and pay a few dollars or not. I will never visit the store again. But they should know their wage includes good...
Read moreDate: 4/12/23. Time: 6:15 PM. Occasion, I was looking for a healthy donner. Subway Indooroopilly Shopping Centre was closed permanently. So I actually drove to this store aiming for a foot long sub. The Sub itself was above average in comparison to what you get in other Subways. But the reason I am here now writing a review to give a 5 star review, is the Staff member that served me. Totally professional, extremely well-mannered and kind. Treated customers with respect and a level of customisation. She was lone, the queue had about 6 customers but managed to be ultra-efficient with her multi-tasking skills. I haven't witnessed a caring and efficient service to this standard in many years. Shop owner, look after this one....
