Subway — Restaurant in Brisbane City

As a fellow hospitality worker and lover of Subway cookies, I must take a moment to shout out the night staff at this location, specifically Jack and Sam!

I work as a restaurant manager up the road and will often make my way down to grab some late night cookies after close. With this area being near the stadium and short stay lodging, it can be quite demanding for hospo workers. However, with consistent service and proper technical skills, working in this area is manageable...yet still exhausting. So, over my time of coming into this store and receiving their jovial personalities, I felt inclined to show my appreciation by writing this review. Jack and Sam, you are in every way PROFESSIONALS.

On the contrary, the team on day shifts have offered me a starkly different & unpleasant experience, and from reading other reviews, I don't appear to be the only one. Nevertheless, I wish Jack, Sam, and the rest of the team all the best and to continue to be great ambassadors of hospitality & service in wherever they go....

On 29/12/2024 at 12:34 AM, I placed an order through the Subway app. Upon visiting the restaurant to collect my order, I was informed that they didn’t receive it in their system. I contacted Subway customer support, who assured me that the restaurant would process a refund. However, when I spoke to the restaurant manager, he told me he would call me later to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, he never followed up, and now he doesn’t answer my calls.

This experience was extremely disappointing. Not only was my time wasted, but the lack of accountability and poor communication from the restaurant is unacceptable. It’s frustrating to deal with such poor service and unfulfilled promises.

I expect better from Subway and hope they address these service gaps to ensure this doesn’t happen to...

Subway is always a friendly place to visit because everyone loves good food. Subway, no matter which shop you go into, has smiling and helpful staff who will go out of their way to make your foody experience with them pleasant and enjoyable. The food variety is enormous. The food is always fresh. They have nothing to hide, so your order is made in front of you to enable you to custom make a meal of delight. Extras are not expensive and you can have as little or as much on your Subway as you desire. Subway is very thoughtful as they ask if you would like a bag and they write on the wrapping an understandable code to differentiate the Subways in your bag. Of course, a must is added to your bag.
