⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This hostel is by far the best I have stayed at in Brisbane, and I have stayed in many hostels around the world. What impressed me the most was the staff. I had shipped my luggage in advance from Melbourne, and when it arrived, not only did they lend me a trolley, but a staff member even helped me carry everything to my room. This was the very first time I experienced such thoughtful support in any hostel worldwide. I know hostels are budget accommodation, so I never expect hotel-like service — which is why I was so surprised and grateful. On another occasion, when I had a small issue in my room, the staff kept in touch with me through notes, emails, and calls while I was away at work during the day, making sure the problem was solved quickly. The facilities are also excellent: refrigerators are installed on each floor, so there is no “fridge shortage” like in many other hostels. And for me, having a proper large freezer was a big plus — something that is very rare in hostels. The rooms and bathrooms are kept very clean, and the common areas are tidy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. Overall, this hostel truly goes above and beyond in both service and facilities. I only stayed for a short time this visit, but I already want to return for a longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional staff support in Brisbane.

I have stayed at Breeze multiple times for both work and vacation, in different rooms (so I can write this review seriously!). The point is, this place has been my second home for a long time. The people who work here have such kind hearts and incredible professionalism! It’s clean, welcoming, and meets the needs of every traveler. The kitchen can get crowded at certain times, but the atmosphere (if you're social) is fantastic! They organize parties on the rooftop, and it’s always wonderful and inviting! Every bed has its own power outlet, curtain, and secure locker. Most rooms have a private bathroom, and there’s an extra kitchen on each floor—modest, but always adequate. I can never stop thanking all of you. If I return to Australia, this will once again be my second home! See you soon! Anna

very small room, 3 square meters for four people to live in. And it’s expensive. Small kitchen and shared toilet. Worst experience in Brisbane. Air conditioner in the room is too cold and cannot adjust it. Staffed hours are limited. When complaining to them, nothing changes. Very crowded place and no hot water. It’s not convenient to anywhere. No bus no train around here. Never book this hotel, it’s hell.

We decided to stay here as it was cheap and describes itself as ‘luxury’. Total lies. Went for the dorm which has a shared bathroom not realising this means you literally share one bathroom with the whole floor. Even just going to the toilet could be up to an hour wait. Not really luxury... Rooms themselves seemed pretty clean but both our roomates were long termers, and just seemed to live in their own sweat so the room smelled terrible. Kitchen was one of the smallest i’ve seen considering the number of people staying here so its nearly impossible to cook at peak times. We couldn’t even fit our bag in the fridge. No soul to this hostel or social atmosphere - just a money making gig without the heart an actual backpackers has. Rooftop terrace was nice but the one billion rules this hostel has means you can’t even eat or drink up there. Location was also awful as you couldn’t walk into town quickly and no decent supermarkets nearby. Overall just an awful experience that i really wouldn’t recommend. Waiting an hour for the toilet at 1:30am as someone was doing god knows what in the shower for that long just ruined it for me from night one to be honest and we ended up not extending our stay and moving to a different hostel....

I dont know where to start... who is reviewing this place well.. there is no social vibe here at all bar a tiny eating area and a tiny roof deck. It does not matter anyway as this hostel is largely unsociable long termers who stick to themselves. Met 1 native english speaker in 3 days so socialising is difficult. Zero atmosphere. ||The staff are the rudest we have encountered in 8 months of travelling! We came in after a full day out to be instantly SCREAMED AT 4 meters in from the entrance for leaving a chopping board unwashed. We had accidentally washed someone elses chopping board and knife instesd of ours as one of us cooked breakfast and one washed it up. As we opened our mouths to try explain it she shouted 'ITS YOU, ITS YOU WE WATCHED IT ON CCTV' and then stormed off like we had defacated on her child. Totally ridiculous and not to mention this was 2 meters away from 8 people sitting and eating. What a way to treat guests!! Roommates were weird, one stole my keycard from next to my bed! $15 fine and receptiont were rude about that too. Desperately needs new staff. Totally awful place we couldnt wait to get out of here. Oh and its miles away...
