Manhattan Pizza — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I have purchased pizzas for takeaway from this place for a few years now as I regularly stay at Dockside apartments just a stroll away, so as usual I ordered my pizza on Sunday evening 14th September 2025 at 5.20pm and was told about half an hour for pick up. So i get to the shop about 5.35pm and pay while waiting for my pizza. Lets see ,6.00pm rolls around and passes. Two members of the local constabulary arrive and order and I can see their order jumps the queue. BUT wait there's my pizza coming out of the oven at 6.15pm. Struth it looks bloody ugly, a very poorly constructed pizza...more like the sweepings off the floor had been shovelled onto a round bit of dough..... OH NO!!!!! what is the business owner doing?? oops as he pulled my pizza from the oven , he saw there was no pineapple on my pizza and left my pizza on the oven top while he grabbed some pineapple and put it onto a pizza tray and put into the oven to heat it up and then when he thought it was warm enough, he pulled the tray out and place clumps of pineapple onto my pizza....what a dogs breakfast....the pizza tasted bloody horrible, looked like something from Halloween. Seriously, I will refuse to go here again...My advise to anyone is not to trust these pathetic pizza makers. BY THE WAY I have been a kitchen hand making pizzas throughout ,80"s and 90"s at Pizza Hut ay Bexley NSW and Mount Colah NSW so I know how to make pizzas!!!!!..this makes my local...

I'm not reviewing for food. I want to make that quite clear.

I never thought I'd be told; "Gotta bag? Because if you don't, see you later..."

So as an uber eats partner driver I did what was the best thing that I could do and cower submissively, say: "Oh yeah here" and lifted it up.

To then be met with a shake of the head and a "Next time get a better bag"

Not that it's any of anyone else's business because your business is to prepare the food and make it available for me to then provide a safe travel to our customer.

I don't tell you how to make your food don't tell me how to delivery my food.

My pizza bag is promoted by dominos.

My bag was fine for delivery.

Your communication choice in this "policy" doesn't read like building positive business rapport or relationships.

Very immature bullying drivers instead of providing positive instruction.

I have unmatched with this restaurant and will not deliver from being treated...

A low-key pizza joint serving average pizza, at best. Apparently, slices are not available in the evenings, so be prepared to purchase an entire pie. If you are a true New Yorker, you surely will be disappointed; but, if you are just a regular person in the mood for some pizza, this place will suffice. While the pizza was piping hot and had a lot of cheese, I found it to be rather dry and in need of more sauce. Also, the table where I ate was unstable, and the dining area room temperature was uncomfortably hot. This place is ideal for locals needing takeaway for a college party, sporting event, or something along those lines. The lady working there is nice and helpful, so it does have...
