Don't move to this place. Lived here for 6 months last year in the apartment 514. Don't believe in any replies they send here. All the reasons:
Rude receptionist (the British woman) - VARIOUS EXAMPLES TONE OF VOICE/ UNFRIENDLY FACIAL EXPRESSION/ I ASKED MORE CLEAR PICTURES OF THE APARTMENT AND SHE REPLIES THOSE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL PICTURES IN A RUDE TONE.
Dishonest behaviour 1 - they tried to charge me 50 dollars for replacing a kitchen light bulb but having issued an entry for a window repair! - We told reception we would change it ourselves - THE SNEAKY BEHAVIOUR HERE IS TO USE A WINDOW REPAIR ENTRY TO GET INTO THE APARTMENT TO DO ANOTHER SERVICE - Dishonest behaviour 2 - They also tried to charge me when I was leaving for taking the rice cooker (another lie!) I took pictures of the apartment and they could not do that.- NO ANSWER
Constant entries, one month I remember they issued 6 entries for my apartment.
Faulty elevator - took months to repair level 5 button. - STILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITY EVERYONE NEEDS TO PAY RENT
Faulty access card - My access card for months did not give me access to the laundry on weekends. - STILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITY EVERYONE NEEDS TO PAY RENT
They gave the Sales Agent access to my apartment before the arranged time - explaining it a bit better, the spare key stays in the reception, THEY GAVE THE SPARE KEY BEFORE THE ARRANGED TIME
They booked an electrician for a time slot that I specifically told them not to come and when I tried to reschedule, they sent the...
Read moreYou have to give credit where credit is due. I cannot speak highly enough of Ben the building manager and Vivian the receptionist and the establishment they are running. They truly do go above and beyond.
As it was my first time moving interstate/living independently I was extremely nervous to do adult things like sign a lease, but the whole process was an ease. It was very straight forward, easy to understand and didn’t have any hidden costs or terms.
The building is conveniently located and you don’t have to walk more than a few minutes to a bus stop, ferry terminal or supermarket. Both modes of transportation run regularly.
The rent was 100% worth it and as everything was included so I didn’t have to worry about multiple bills.
Fully furnished studio apartment. Unlimited Wi-Fi (You are allocated a certain amount but I never ran out and I used it a lot) Unlimited power and water. The building is secure and can only be accessed by if you have a keycard once they leave. Again, conveniently located in a safe suburb was a bonus.

Read moreI have been at UniLodge Shafston for almost six months now and will be renewing my lease for another six months. This place is perfect for singles as it’s close to the action (movies, galleries, shopping, parks, restaurants, etc) and a 10-minute walk to Mowbray Park CityCat terminal, which is a great way to get around the city and easy to connect with trains. You can easily get by without a car. The furnished units are tiny, so ideal for one person and the rent includes wifi, electricity and use of the gym. There’s an IGA supermarket a short walk from here and a cool café just around the corner. I’d like to see a bit more chance to socialise with other residents but with the current Covid situation it’s best to just stay safe. It’s handy to have someone at the reception desk Monday to Friday for deliveries and to answer any questions and requests. The staff have always been efficient, kind and...
