Can't complain about the food at the Aspley CC as we never even got our meal!!! Went for lunch there about 2pm Saturday arvo. It was not busy. When we arrived, we were told to pick a table and they would come and serve us, as it was table service. We waited at least 5 minutes before a staff member came to us with the menu's. We ordered a coffee each while we decided what to eat. Another staff member came and took our food order. We asked for a steak sandwich which was on the menu but they didn't have any steak, so we chose other meals. Then we waited.. And waited. We thought they may have been understaffed, so that was why it was taking so long. It wasn't until I noticed someone else that had came in after us, had food taken to them, that I approached the staff and asked when our food would be coming. She went into the kitchen, and a bit later, came out and said our order had been misplaced. Offered to cook it for us, even to serve it as takeaway, but as we had already waited 45min, and they still had to cook it, we really weren't interested. For table service, if you have guests sitting there for so long, (and yes, we could easily be seen by them), you would think someone would have even came to us to see if we wanted another cup of coffee.. So needless to say we left there very HANGRY (hungry and angry).. We won't be going back...

Ended up here for a Sunday breakfast. Ordered 5 meals. 2 seemed ok, 3 were terrible. Do not order the summer pancake - it’s a cake, not a pancake to start with. The first time it came out it was uncooked and still had batter in the middle and was served without ice-cream. I showed them it was uncooked and was told they would do a fresh one. The same food was brought back out - the cut marks where it had been cut into were visible. It was just not a pancake and was like a big sponge. Another meal, a flat grill was so dry and lacked flavour. A almond croissant was dry. Generally just super disappointing. One of our party was paying and the young woman serving was like oh…sorry about that. He asked to speak to a manager who have excuses about being understaffed but there was at least 5 staff with 2 kitchen staff and it wasn’t very busy. Ultimately she took the price of the “pancake” and flat grill off the bill which was good but then staff gave us dirty looks and attitudes as we were leaving. Unfortunately one of the meals caused two people to feel really unwell too - they think the halloumi was off and caused it. These two people shared a meal and both have been ill. Given how awful and undercooked the pancake was and overcooked the flat grill was, I wouldn’t...

When you go out for breakfast with your wife costing $63.00 you at least expect to walk away satisfied. Guess we were wrong!!

We ordered two big breakfast both meals were cold, the only thing warm was the shrivelled up over cooked sausages.

I ate my meal only due to being hungry, ever since very I’ll.

Supposedly hot chips still cold and raw in the middle.

Both meals bacon was burnt, fried eggs could have dropped off the floor and bounced back up on the plate, cold poached eggs disgusting.

Cold cherry tomatoes certainly not appealing.

Thought we would give you guys another try after a previous poor experience, again we were wrong.

Girl at counter asked my wife about our meals, to which my wife replied “NOT GOOD” to which she gave a reply of sorry to hear that.

Nothing further like why do you say this?

Or could I grab the manager for you, customer service was a tad better than the food.

Salted caramel Frappe was a not a frappe note this was more of a milkshake.

Felt sorry for other diners, as my wife observed meals sitting waiting for seven minutes whilst waiting for another meal for the same table. Guess they will have cold food as well.

Unfortunately I could go on more but this was one...

Very disappointed with breakfast. Chose bacon n eggs with egg scrambled and grilled tomato. Bacon neatly folded on plate but barely cooked and so greasy and like the egg barely warm. Had to ask where my grilled tomato I paid extra for was. One round slice of tomato bought out on plate. $2 for slice of tomato. Why can cafes not get scrambled egg right.? How hard is it to get them nice an creamy not dehydrated and rubbery as they've been cooked in microwave. No matter what Coffee Club you go to scrambled eggs are a fail. Basic 101 in cooking. Cafe was not busy on my arrival so that is no excuse...greasy half cooked bacon. When I went to pay girl did offer free coffee.... Sadly dissapointed again with Coffee Club.... Should know by now it's very much miss on the quality of the food

Not a bad place but with a group of 7 (including a chairman of the board) they messed up or order, took forever to bring our correct orders and then took forever to take our plates and bring us desert options. It was not a busy night either. I suspect that the well meaning but worried looking young lady was in fact a trainee who needed more supervision. As you can see from the photo my French toast looked great (tasted great too) and my pasta was great too. They gave a few of us $10 vouchers at the end but only to be used at that coffee club and had to be used within 1 month! Not much of a compensation for the disappointment and embarrassment.

This is one of the last casual dining establishments that open late on the weekends anywhere near Aspley. The Coffee Club Aspley offers a relaxing place to dine, or just finish your evening with a coffee, hot chocolate, pot of tea, or even an alcoholic beverage as they are fully licensed. Sitting high on the corner of Gympie Road and Albany Creek Road, you overlook the Aspley Hypermarket intersection and can chat with friends or enjoy a casual business meeting with good food, friendly service and then finish it all off with a an I've cold Vodka Lime and Soda.
