Walking into this cafĂ© feels like stepping into a rock concert – bold, edgy, and full of character. The dĂ©cor leans heavily into a rock-inspired style, from the artwork on the walls to the overall vibe, giving it a unique personality that sets it apart from the usual Brisbane cafĂ© scene.

What caught me by surprise, though, was how warm and attentive the service was. Despite the tough, rock-and-roll atmosphere, the staff were welcoming and quick to make sure everything ran smoothly. The coffee itself hit the mark too – rich, smooth, and with just the right balance of strength, making it a solid choice for anyone chasing a quality brew.

There are both indoor seats where you can soak up the bold atmosphere and quieter corners if you’d rather just relax with your drink. It’s not the kind of cafĂ© that blends into the background – it makes a statement, which is why locals who like something a little different seem to love it.

Parking nearby is manageable, and the space works fine for a casual catch-up with friends or even a solo visit if you’re keen to enjoy the music and soak in the style. It may not be for everyone, but if you’re open to something different, this rock-inspired cafĂ© is definitely...

Actually loved the smoothie and milkshake that was made for us. Unfortunately, the owner/barrister misheard a conversation I was having out the front of the store. Her reaction was to kick off and create a scene. Even though, I immediately reacted with an apology the woman continued to yell and use slurs against me. Quote “entitled”, maybe a mistaken identity as she continued to rant that I come in and “try to run the place”. Also tried shaming me in what I was wearing. After I continually apologized and tried to calm her down as she must of had a rough day. This did not stop when I came into the store to speak with the woman one on one as there must have been a misunderstanding. To Die For is an extremely unpleasant cafe and I’m so disappointed that I went over there. Do not appreciate being abused in-front of customers. This woman also dragged other cafes into her argument as well. She threatened me to come back to the store and she would have her male employee waiting. After all of the heated argument ended, I did try to reconcile and was unfortunately not too happy with her response and lack of apology. I will gladly take this bad rating down, if the woman would apologize for...

I go for coffee here quite a bit on weekends and on my way to work. Coffee is always on point, and a small selection of pastries never disappoints. I'd suggest people take note of the passive-aggressive signage whilst inside the store. When ordering, i suggest you know exactly what you want, be polite and quick with the barista as he doesn't like too much chit-chat, and has no problem letting you know your shortcomings. One should assume that the barista has had enough of your shit and doesn't like you very much before you enter the shop. I took my boss here once, and he touched the coffee cups on the coffee machine which was a bit of a mistake. I suggest strongly not touch any of the baristas shit... Has a selection of clothing that's worth checking out. Shop opens early and frequented by shift workers in the early AM. Don't waste your time with service station or fast food coffee in the early AM. Plenty of parking and best accessed travelling in bound on gympie road. If you like coffee, you should check...

Full disclosure. I despise the saying "To Die For". Having said that the coffee here was excellent and the warning on the door and the wall as soon as you enter prepare you for what's to come. This is Australia where workers are paid a fair wage for work. Sucking up to wanker customers is not a requirement and this place typifies that culture. It's refreshing. I'm also a huge fan of grumpy bartenders so this style really works for me. Very different from the USA where staff really rely on tips to survive. I was a but shocked about the 3am opening time but was given a good explanation for it and it seems to be part of why this place is so successful! Bravo! Come in and have a great coffee but be sure to leave bad attitudes at the door! đŸšȘ 😍

The perfect escape- atmosphere and coffee to sell your soul for. Down to the ‘salt of the earth’, no BS hype. The Barista was awesome- he knew what I wanted when I didn’t. And he was spot on. Thanks and shout out to SIL’s brother. Probably don’t bring yours kids or sensitive ears- some illicit language may be in play. Low lighting with blackened walls and music volume to chill too. Easy to relax and unwind in a low sensory environment. Impressed to also see they also have a wheelchair accessible venue, with ramps, wide doorways and free floor space. Some environmental friendly concepts in place, without people even realising, they don’t do straws and have recyclable plastics.
