I had a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience at the Wollongabba Hotel with the. “Manager” named Tyrone. I accidentally walked just outside the pub area with my drink still in my hand, as I was having a cigarette and didn’t want to smoke near people eating and instead of politely explaining the rule, he snatched it out of my hand and started being extremely rude and aggressive. When I questioned why he’d acted like that, he asked if I was from Australia, which came across as completely racist and unnecessary. I felt intimidated and disrespected no customer deserves to be spoken to or treated that way. This kind of attitude gives the venue a bad name. The food is very low quality. Avoid !!!! Much nicer places with decent customer service.

Food should be skipped. We had the Sunday roast special and the pork was so dry you couldn’t chew it. Undercooked vegetables. The bar staff were very friendly and nice. The people watching is certainly entertaining… a very wide variety of people some you may stay a wide berth of upon leaving as they are chewing their face off or arguing with each other.

Overpriced beer - $8.60 for tooheys new in a plastic cup - 375ml Ordered Nachos - $15 - 55 minutes to arrive after chasing up the manager and get a brunch of corn chips, sour cream a couple of kidney beans with a couple of the chips having melted cheese on them. I won’t be heading here again as there’s plenty of other options in the area

The blond young man was a double word meaning emphasis jealousy fuelled opportunist smartmouth. Hyphenated. I assumed fries would be with my burger so I didn't ask . It looked naked without them when the server brought them out. Even if you don't eat them . I had a house wine by the glass which was as smooth as a Joe Thomas R &B song. Very nice.

The server severed a young family man whose daughter is in the local hospital. It might have been a social test to see if the server actually gave a damn about the patrons who provide him a job. Apparently the young family man is being punished by vengeful government administration for when he once "indulged him$elf" and administration was a lu$ious lovely lady.

Here there are price on point for people who don't have a lot of money. $10 with...

I am VERY. unhappy with my interaction today. Me and my partner wanted to have a lunch date at the woolloongabba hotel, because my partner appears young we were instantly asked for id, he showed his i told the lady working that i left mine at home but we werent here to drink we were here to eat. And she very rudely said they not serving us because were minors. Me and my fiance are both 23 years old. I also work in a bar and know people without id are able to enter a pub if with someone who has id and is not drinking but there to eat. Im appalled at the womans rude tone and manner as she totally embarrassed me and my partner by handling the situation without tact and very loudly so other customers overheard us...
