Five star food tucked away in an arcade in Byron Bay. Been coming to Byron for years and missed this place previously, but saw their sign on the footpath near the arcade so was compelled to check it out.

If you are Vegan like me or Vegetarian or just for anyone loving awesome quality wholefood meals at reasonable prices this is the place🤗🌱💶✅️. Eat in or takeaway.

Hubby doesn't have dietary requirements but indulged in a filling yummy medium sized combo bowl of vegan and vegetarian dishes .

Love that you can select what dishes you want, similar to those Noodle and Curry Kiosks where you select a number of dishes for a fixed price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Custom Combo Bowl, brown rice, plus 3 dishes, cost $18 and it was delish & filling.

I had kofta with red sauce, battered cauliflower, salad-which included a bit of 3 varieties, and was given a little curry to try too.

After a good experience at The Cardamom Pod earlier this week where I had a small container of lasagne for $9.50 + extra rice for $2.30 all in the same container for a total of $11.80, all as it was priced on the board, I decided to return today for exactly the same. I clearly requested a small container of lasagne with extra rice. I was served by a young female member of staff with dark hair and glasses(mentioned in another recent review) who filled the small container with lasagne then filled another container with rice, I thought it was a bit strange but thought maybe she's just being generous......however, she asked for $16! I politely mentioned this and pointed to the board where it stated $9.50 for a small container and she said it's classified as a bake which was $11. That wasn't clear advertising but I accepted, but that would make the total price $13.30 with the extra rice for $2.30, not $16! As i was very hungry, I didn't realise the second discrepancy with the rice until I returned to work. She also didn't apologise, made an arrogant facial expression, rolled her eyes and didn't offer me a receipt to prove the cost.....very convenient.
