Pho Viet Vietnamese Noodle & Juice bar — Restaurant in Cairns City

I've been to Pho Viet in Abbott St. I know there's a Pho Viet in Orchid Plaza. This one is in McLeod St, opposite Cairns Central and almost next to Chemist Warehouse. They all have the same branding and signage so I assume they're the same owners. I doubt it's a franchise so it must be the beginning of an empire :)

The food was as good as Abbott St. The service was fast and everything was good. It wasn't as busy as I remember the Abbot St location which made it a pleasant, less hectic experience.

I had the "plain" beef noodles, the lowest price point on the menu, and really enjoyed the noodles in the soup and the slices of beef. The soup was good for Vietnamese style but I prefer the Thai version which has more depth of flavour but I knew what I was getting so have no complaints.

My friends both had different styles of the beef noodles and declared them to be the best they've had in recent memory.

We used to come here all the time for the crispy pork Banh Mi as they were absolutely incredible!!! The last few times we've been, they have been very light on with the pork and haven't had the delicious bread rolls....just crusty generic ones which are small and average. I've notice different staff in there so maybe that has something to do with the change?? Staff are always friendly and it's always clean. Can always get a table. Just feeling a bit...

Delish! For me, Pho can be a bit hit or miss! But this one was a hit - flavoursome! Service was beautiful, too ❤️
