Long wait time, when asked where the 3rd meal was got very poor customer service and a total lack of any apology or responsibility for the mistake.

I finished my meal before my girlfriend’s sister, who ordered before me, got her main. They didn’t bring the chips and asked if we still wanted them. We said yes and asked for some free sauce to make up for the wait and the server looked shocked we were asking, after they totally forgot our order.

They finally bring all our food, and free sauce, only for me to notice there was a hair in the first bowl of chips.

I took the bowl to the counter to speak to the manager to complain about forgetting our order, but mostly the poor service and lack of apology, and the hair in our food. She cut me off mid complaint to try and be defensive, but I stood my ground and told her what happened. They offered us free food on the spot, but we had already eaten so they offered us a food voucher. I refused and demanded a refund. After a long process I finally got a refund, but had to take cash rather than a card refund as they couldn’t work out how to process it to my card.

Probably the worst customer service experience I have had in years. Young staff with no care for their customers, and defensive when receiving a complaint. At least we did receive a cash refund, and the food itself was fine. But bad service makes for a horrible experience. Avoid...

I am changing my review after being a loyal customer for a while. The reason is that the unacceptable attitude. Although we ordered large feta chips, they have mistaken with large chips (without feta). We said that we actually ordered feta and after that, the team member who took our order brought the large feta chips and added that her manager told her to say “NEXT TIME YOU MAKE SURE YOU ORDERED THE RIGHT THING”. We were shocked and said that we can pay the extra (which is 2 dollars!), we have no problem with that, wrong orders can happen, but these words are rude. The team member seemed uncomfortable after we said that, as we noticed these were the manager’s words. We insisted on paying the difference(ridiculous 2 dollars!) but also didn’t want to conflict as the team member was very uncomfortable. After finishing our meal we wanted to see the manager and to pay the difference. The manager was very cool about it and said “yeah, 2 dollars”. We came here on Sunday to have a nice breakfast. All these fuss for less than 10 g of feta cheese (2 dollars difference…). Well, please keep your attitude of 2 dollars difference for less than 10 g of feta cheese, we are not...

I visited specifically to try their plant based lamb, as I was hearing great things about it, and I was not disappointed! 😍😍 The Zeus Pita is made with their unique plant based lamb wrapped in a pita together with slaw, parsley, vegan mayo and smoky eggplant dip. The taste and the texture of the plant based lamb is SO spot on, and it’s absolutely packed with flavour. Highly recommend you try it ASAP! And if you don’t live near Carousel, don’t worry, it’s totally worth the drive!

There’s a great range of other vegan dishes on the menu too. While I was there I tried:

I loved everything but the Zeus Pita and Loukoumades were standouts for me, so if you visit make sure you don’t leave without trying...
