Tonight, I dined at what I believe is called Two Sisters or Lao Thai (the signage wasn't quite clear), I found the name when I wrote this review. This bustling Thai spot offered an atmosphere that was both energetic and authentic. Our meal began with a round of spring rolls which, although delicious, took a while to arrive at our table. As for the main courses, the pad see ew and chicken satay paired with saffron coconut rice were very tasty, both in terms of flavor and presentation (I've attached a photo for reference). The staff, while friendly and attentive, were slow to take our orders - something that could be improved upon in future visits. In terms of cleanliness, the restaurant was spotless which is always a positive sign. When it came to pricing, I found it to be quite fair considering the quality and portion sizes. If you're a fan of refreshing drinks, their soda options were a delightful surprise. Overall, while I wouldn't rush back immediately, I definitely enjoyed the food and experience. If you're in the mood for authentic Thai fare in a bustling atmosphere, this place is worth checking out.

Two Sisters Lao Thai Cuisine is a Great Thai and Laos restaurant. The hosts are friendly hosts and provide good service. The menu is extensive and has a good variety of entrees, noodles, curries, stir fries, seafood and more. Crispy fried whole snapper had a wonderful aroma, looked fantastic and had a great blend of texture from the crunch of the skin and fins with the delicate softness of the flesh and vegetables. Words alone would not do justice to the sauce that had the kick of chillies, a hint of sweetness together with the contrast of salty citrus notes. The fried tofu is wonderful though tonight, it wasn't as crispy as usual. Go for some of the house specials like pork belly and Chinese broccoli. It is delicious with a delicate flavour and crunch from the fresh broccoli and the crackling of the pork belly. Good selection of starters and drinks. Definitely worth a visit with friends and family. There is no outdoor seating and parking out the front is limited in capacity and is often full.

Went there for dinner on a weekend so the place was absolutely busy. The place itself is very tiny and the tables are very close to each other. So it does get very noisy. However we were looking forward for the food, (iykyk the local the place looks the food is usually bomb) the food was average for us. Sadly, it didn’t have the wow factor we were hoping for. Overall a decent dining experience.

Where to start. The girl who greeted us was pleasant and set up our table for 7 as we were walk-ins.

20 minutes later other tables who arrived after us had their orders taken. I had to approach the counter to ask for service. No big deal. We had our order taken. It was busy so a bit of a wait. Again no big deal. To be expected.

The first 3 dishes arrived. Mine (Pad Thai) was tiny and looked unappetising. My wife leaned in and said I hope it tastes better than it looks. Ominous. I waited for the other meals to arrive as you do. After 10 minutes they said eat it'll get cold. Ok. The worst most tasteless Pad Thai I have ever had. As I said it was tiny. I realised why upon eating it. There were TWO small pieces of chicken in the entire dish and one tiny cube of tofu. I asked for medium heat. Pepper had twice the heat of this dish. Anyway my meal sucked. No other way to put it.

Meanwhile we are still waiting for the rest of the dishes. 30 minutes after the first dish they had all arrived. In fairness 50% of the table said their meals (yellow curry) were good the rest....well. Another 10 minutes. Wave waitress over. Where is our rice? Forgotten. My son piped up not long after and said he hadn't received his lemonade. Sigh. Wave again. Rinse repeat.

Again in fairness the young girl running the front of house was nice. She apologised when we were leaving for the lateness of meals, service etc.

I'll focus on my meal. It was disgraceful for a restaurant. If I had that at a food hall I'd have still been disappointed. Pad Thai is a signature dish. How can you get it so wrong!? I left hungry and very disappointed.

Anyway. I don't leave many negative reviews because I understand how hard business and particularly food is. I own and run a food business.

We all agreed (two families) that once was enough for Two...

As interstate visitors we called into the Two Sisters Lao Restaurant & were greeted pleasantly enough & directed to our table. However, after that it all went downhill from there. The young woman who took our order appeared to have an attitude & was more interested in cleaning up around us rather than ensuring that our orders were being meted out correctly. First of all, she failed to deliver our drinks orders & only after being reminded did she deliver the wine to our table. The order off course was wrong & the manner in which she delivered the drinks was totally unprofessional. There was no confirmation with us as to who ordered what wine & the drinks just simply plonked on the table..It was only when I voiced my displeasure at the poor standard of service loud enough for the manager who was sitting in an adjoining table to hear that the matter was addressed. By then they had completely put us offside. Then our food order which partly consisted of 2 dishes to compliment each other was delivered 10 minutes apart with the crispy pork well overcooked. Admittedly we arrived at the latter end of the business day, however, it was before closing time. As a Customer, I am of the firm belief that if you invite us to sit down & take our orders without informing us that restaurant is closing shortly, then you are obliged to ensure that we are treated courteously & professionally. This was not the case with The Two Sisters Lao Restaurant whose standard of food & service was well below par ensuring that we will not return & advise both friends & business colleagues to avoid dining at the Two Sisters Lao Restaurant in...
