Worst restaurant service ever, which is almost none. They basically only take you to the table and leave you to figure out the rest all by yourself. No menu brought to the table, nobody telling you that you need to get the menu from counter by yourself, and yea of course you need to go to the couter to order, all of which you would never know unless start asking after wondering for minutes where are the bloody menu, water, cutlery, and most importantly the waitress. Everything is pretty much self-served, you'd be lucky to find out where water and napkins are. Thanks for the kind lady who sat next to us and passed us her menu when she spotted our eager and confused eyes.
I wouldn't blame the waitress because all these seem to be the restaurant rules that they assume everyone walks in knows.
Banchan, the small dishes, as a Korean restaurant standard, are only simply served as a bite of bean sprout & kimchi. And yes again, we didn't get even get those until we asked.
Be careful if you're a Bibimbap fan, we weren't lucky enough to get a sauce bottle that's not clogged. I chose not to risk exploding it and decided to twist the whole head off.
They have an outdoor area which is ok with the heaters in such a cold weather, but you may not want to be sitting inside next to the door as the waitress that goes out there will leave the door wide open behind her to offer you some refreshing winter air.
Cups smell like rag, so do the plates (which are slightly better). These got us concerning about the kitchen hygiene.
Food taste fine though, but we won't go back to enjoy all these services again, if you call...
Read moreAn experience I felt offended, I was slandered and abused by the clerks. Obviously, you think that crying can make others replace your own problems. You can slander others regardless of the reason, bring negative emotions to others at will, and bring your bad mood to customers. I want everyone to know how bad the service environment of this restaurant is. Coming to this restaurant can ruin your good mood for the day.
I ordered spicy chicken feet at the beginning. After I paid my bill, the waiter said that they didn’t have any spicy chicken feet, so we began to order other meals. After thinking about it for a while, we wanted to replace the soup we ordered with a hot pot, and then the waiter said that the soup was almost ready in their kitchen. I said it was not my fault. That is all because you didn't tell me that the spicy chicken feet were not available before I paid the bill, and then the waiter walked away after saying nothing at all.
After that, I was told that all my meals were canceled and drove me out of the restaurant because I abused and yelled at their waiter. However, I was slandered as abusing her simply because I made my request. They didn't do any investigation at all, and one of the colleagues said that the waiter was crying in the back and that is the evidence of you abusing our clerk. I want to say to this waiter that the behavior of bringing your bad mood to customers is the real abuse. This experience also let me know that this restaurant only looks at tears. I believe that this restaurant can pay with tears...
Read moreWe came from Sydney and we googled to find the best Korean restaurant in Canberra. Based on the reviews, we thought this restaurant very good (How many restaurants will get 4.7 out of 5?). We are big fans of Korean fried chicken and other Korea food. We also wanted to have Korean- Chinese fusion dishes like Jjajang and Jjampong etc. When we arrived, the employee at the counter told us that the chef is on leave for a month and not all food on the menu will be available. We ordered two different kind of chickens and one chicken bento (we wanted to order more, but many dishes were not available). When we asked pickles, the employee said the kitchen was already closed (but it was only 8:30 when we left the restaurant) and he cannot give us pickles. I was thinking we should order something sour or spicy to neutraliae this fried oily dishes- anyway the kitchen was closed before 8:30. We couldn't finish our chickens (it was so difficult to eat all fried chickens on and on without pickles and no beer..). We left this restaurant with disappointment. Fairly to say, chicken dishes tasted good and prepared fresh. Just felt the kitchen was short-staffed and so gave the minimal service to customers. Looking at the previous customers' images, custmers could enjoy a variety of food here in general and get pickles as well in a normal situation. So I guess we were just unlucky to visit this restauranr when the...
