Unexpectedly disappointing food but good service.

I have been to this restaurant previously about four months ago and it was definitely much better.

I was here again last night with a couple of friends. Our night started pretty good - waiters are very attentive and letting us to settle before placing any order. We ordered our drinks and shortly started to order our food.

So now where this gets interesting:

Arancini (again, staff were super nice and offered to adjust the quantity to the number of people we had). But what about the actual quality - arancini were WAY to wet to the point they didn't hold even the shape well. The tomato sauce tasted a bit too fresh for the dish - and who would normally complain about this - but unfortunately it wasn't a good combination - very disappointing.

Pizzas - We ordered two pizzas: Vegeterian and Burrata with Mortadella. Vegetarian was actually alright but the Mortadella one - way to bland - it was on the white base, however it felt as if the base was precooked with the sauce. Plus the combination of Burrata, Mortadella and white source wasn't very enticing at all. It's a first time I had pizza with Burrata that I regretted ordering.

Once we finished our meal we ordered some more drinks and also asked to start cooking for a friend who was on his way. The waiter asked three times when to start cooking to ensure the meal is nice and hot for when our friend arrives - that is excellent service.

You don't want the food to "look" good - you want Italian food in an "Italian restaurant"...

Disappointing takeaway experience this evening. Placed an order over the phone and was advised a 10 min wait. Arrived 15 minutes later and paid for said order however it wasn't ready. Waited a further 40 minutes within the restaurant and enquired when the order would be ready considering we observed other orders going out and was not acknowledged once during this time. We were told there was a wait on take away orders and that they remembered taking our order but it wasn't ready. We pressed again a second time to advise we'd been waiting 40 minutes and that there were other orders going out, and they then decided to look and discovered the order was ready and waiting over half an hour ago whilst we were waiting in the restaurant and after we had already asked for an ETA. We were given the order with no acknowledgement or apology, and food that tasted like cold cardboard as it had been sitting there for over half an hour. Sadly not the first time we've experienced this as locals in the area. It's the lack of consistent empathy/apology that's most frustrating in these scenarios. We'll visit neighbouring restaurants such as Bellavista and Maruzzalla moving forward. A shame as we genuinely love going to their sister...

I recently visited Robbie’s pizza pasta vino, and while the food was good, the overall experience was tainted by the owner's unprofessional behaviour.

We had ordered a pizza with prosciutto, but when the pizza arrived, it contained tuna instead. We immediately informed the owner of the mix-up, but he was insistent that we had ordered tuna, despite being 100% certain we had said prosciutto. His response was not only dismissive but he also refused to acknowledge the mistake on his part.

To make matters worse, the owner offered to remake the pizza but insisted we pay for both the incorrect one and the new one, which felt completely unreasonable. After much back and forth, and as we stood firm in refusing to pay for his mistake, he ultimately decided not to charge us for the incorrect pizza and provided us with the prosciutto pizza we originally ordered. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how a company handles them is what truly matters. In this case, the lack of accountability and poor customer service overshadowed the quality of the food. Unfortunately, this experience has completely soured our perception of the restaurant, and we will not...

Mrs Burgandy the crew and I were fortunate to get a table on opening night. Wow, the service was great with our drinks in check our own cellared wine corked for the crew, atmosphere was comparable to the studio on a night with breaking news, brightly lit, lots of laughter, from the tables for this memorable occasion. Food was on time flowing and kept the crew full. We started on an assortment of pizza and then broke into the mains, to Mrs Burgandy's delight the Gnocchi was perfect, reminding her of a recent time in Italy, the Marinara was reminiscent of my own southern Italian experience months earlier. Our boy Willo noticed the bell and rang it loud and like precision clock work Robbie himself walked a bottle of limoncello to the table with enough glasses for all. Robbie joined us with a quick drink, which was a pleasant surprise making the crew feel extra special. Thanks Robbie. We will be back to experience the fantastic atmosphere tastey fulfilling food and ringing that bell for another sweet limoncello.

We had dinner at Robbie's Pizza during a weeknight. We got the carbonara pasta and the prosciutto pizza. Overall, it wasn't bad, but also not mind blowing. The pizza was good - better than the pasta in our opinion. The carbonara was honestly too cheesy and the smell was a bit off putting. We were only able to take a few bites out of it as it was a bit too overpowering. Overall though, the staff was friendly and the environment was nice.
