Smash Grill — Restaurant in Fremantle

Was feening for a burger and stumbled across this place, and let me tell you, this place has some good burgers and waffle fries!!!

Came here with my girlfriend before seeing 'Story of the Year' (which was amazing, by the way). My girlfriend had gotten the popcorn chicken with waffle fries, and I had gotten the buttermilk chicken burger.

The burger was superrrrr crisp, and so juicy!!! For me, I love sauce, and it could've been sauce up a bit more, and I would've called it a 10/10 burger. It also kind of reminded me of a zingee burger!! But way better, hahahahha!!

The popcorn chicken and waffle fries were also amazing !!! The chicken was also juicy and had a nice little crisp and not chewy!! And don't get me started on the waffle fries.. They were fluffy, salty, crispy, and just amazing !!! Top tier waffle fries, the best out there!!! Even my girlfriend can vouch that 😤

I am not even joking, this place is a 5 star restaurant for real for real. Anything less than 5 or 4 is either just haters, a very subjective experience or something really bad. But my gosh wow. What can i say about this place. My gosh. The experience blew my mind! It was literally delicious. Firstly to start with the amazing asian guy that served me my food. Such a nice spirited guy, wow. And now to the important part the food!.... i am vegetarian and my gosh, the portaburger i had there was mwah! oh my gosh, it was so freaking delicious like oh my gawwwwwwwwshhhhh, it was so good guys... like wow.... i even had it with fresh orange juice and lemonade from the nearby stand there. My gosh what a great combo. Best food I've had im freo om such a long time..... 5 star, 6 star, 7 star experience. Please don't change!.... find attached photos of the amazing...

First time being here after a long day

Customer service was fantastic, the cooks in the back looked like they were having fun and enjoying being there. The food though. Oh my God it is worth it. If you remember the original taste of Hungry Jacks burgers back in early 2000s, Smash Grill has come pretty bloody close to getting that original flavour. The waffle fries were soft and has this crisp that wasn't over crispy, they were full of potato and definitely worth getting with your meal. The grilled chicken burger was the softest and juiciest burger I've ever had in my life. It was just perfect.

10/10 definitely would recommend this to anyone who visits Freo, I'd kill to have this restaurant in...
