Esplanade Park is peaceful even when children are running around. It has restaurants and a coffee shop at the southern end and public facilities at the North and Southern ends. It has a smaller version of the London Eye Ferris wheel. If you look across the railway line You'll see the original cicerello's fish market and fish and chip shop ( must be over 50 Years their market's been there )😇

It's always a pleasure doing photo shoots at Fremantle. At the Esplanade Park itself there is of course the Ferris wheel and nice trees surrounding the area. You can easily walk around and are spoiled for choice in terms of photography spots. The old buildings are a favourite of mine along Cliff St an High St. Pick late afternoon before sunset for the best photo opportunities.

Love this place! Perfect for babies, kids and teens. There is plenty to do and play equipment to suit all ages (even us bigger kids). The skate park is also pretty cool and they have session times for ladies only which i think is ace. The Fremantle Eye also makes a beautifuk backdrop for family photos if you're not lucky enough to catch it operating.

A beautiful space big enough for something for everyone. With a skate park, playground, ample picnic space and relatively clean public loos, it's a lovely stop over while in Freo. Take your fresh market produce or wander 5 mins in any direction for a cold or hot beverage and food. Always a favourite with friends, family and visitors alike.

Lovely place for a walk and a picnic. Plenty of tables and benches, and bbq facilities. You can also spread a picnic mat under shady trees if that is what you prefer. Restaurants/cafes dot the area. The best part is the free public pool, manned by a lifeguard. All in all, a great place for the entire family to while away the hours.
