Sail Inn Snack Bar — Restaurant in Geraldton

Cleaning commenced 15 minutes before closing, not overly happy with dust being swept in my meal! Also didnt appreciate having water flicked on my leg by the mop while eating!! Needless to say I left my meal wrapper on the table, to which upon leaving I got a raised voice comment of "Thanks for the mess"! Is that not your job to clear and wipe down the tables being this is the service you provide and are paid for?? I then went back and said I was not happy with the customer service to which the door was shut and locked in my face...nice. Keep up the good work...

We had a hankering for fish and chips so chose this place due to the high ratings on Google. Unfortunately this was a big mistake. We asked for salt and vinegar on our chips, there didn't appear to have any added at all, and they were so flavourless that we only ate a few. The grilled fish had NO taste and wasn't even grilled properly. It also had flour on it which was soggy so not good for gluten free. The squid rings and dim sims were well cooked but too salty.nOverpriced for fish and chips especially considering the quality. Would not recommend...

We were looking for a quick and easy lunch and Sail Inn snack bar didn’t disappoint. The staff were ok, not the friendliest or most welcoming, but this seems to be something we discovered with Geraldton as a whole, tourists aren’t welcomed or greeted openly like in other parts of WA, almost like we are an inconvenience to them. Our lunch was good, fish well cooked and a good serving of chips and salad also. Not sure I’d want to return too often, but at least we could get a bite to eat while...
