Cafe Michigan — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Update: went here again and just like last time it was quality food and drinks. Tried their brekky burger with the pork patty and it was super tasty. The saltiness of the pork patty was nicely compensated by the sweetness of the sauce and the tomato. The patty was crispy and juicy as well. Bun was fluffy yet crispy at the same time. Highly recommend this place

Amazing little cafe. Nice ambience, plenty of seating area both indoors and outdoors. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and buttermilk pancakes. Both were delicious and well worth the money. Cappuccino, latte and iced drinks were also top notch. They also sell small keychains and hair accessories and bags that is made by the baristas mum.

The barista was super helpful with getting additional sugar for the table, providing some additional chocolate syrup for the pancakes etc.

Will definitely be back again...

I spent 40$ on 2 “sandwiches” which were not even close.. we were expecting sandwiches not massive slices of Turkish bread and not even cut down the middle. The food in the window at the front looked days and days old. Both of our meals had multiple extras and added on things from the menu and if I had of known there would be Turkish bread we wouldn’t have bought them.. As I chef I’ve spend years learning what flavours go together and what don’t and these guys are clearly in their first few weeks of learning to cook. Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Give this place 2 more months tops before they run...

It wasn't busy when we came here on Sunday morning. My partner was looking for a cafe around the oxenford area, and this place popped out in google search. I'm so lucky to find it because it was not busy that Sunday, and literally, we were the only ones there, lols. The owner is super friendly. I am sure dogs are not allowed, but because there's no other customer that day and it was scorching hot outside, our dog was allowed as one off. Great coffee and food here, and the guy is super nice and accommodating. We would definitely come...
