Some very good things to recommend about this place. The energy and care the owners exhibit is wonderful. The lady serving was bubbly and bright, and the chef when I saw him was enthusiastic and smiling. The inside was clean and uncluttered and there were ample places to sit. The view is of a carpark so you better go with nice company and you can stare into their eyes. The menu had plenty of options with a slight Indian flair. A good choice of vegetarian options is always a good sign. Different portion sizes were on offer including a snack menu which we dived into so we could have different dishes. The arancini balls were great. The squid was deep fried but crisp. The potato and sago fritters were nice enough but overcome with oil I think so the overall effect with all three choices was a bit oily. The salad tried to counter act this but lacked enough dressing. Our coffees whilst very nice were luke warm. Presentation was beautiful and it is nice to eat from decent plates too. The back ground music was non descript and personally I think was in no way needed. It added nothing. The bass was overwhelming, that deep gut turning bass that emanates from "gangsta" cars...but maybe I am old. The hosts were as I said, full of energy and I really hope they do well even if our visit was not quite what we...
Read moreGood Cafe. The chef is from Hyderabad India. Most of our kids enjoyed the various pastas, from the carbonara to the gnocchi. Others had the beef ribs, which were ok. But whatever you do I strongly recommend you stay clear of the butter chicken spaghetti... my foodie friend from Melbourne and I decided to order the same BC spag... just out of interest. It was nothing like the butter chickens we are used to in Australia. Normally, chicken tikka pieces are used in a butter chicken...however, the waitress kept on insisting their version was the correct one. Well, it tasted more like a curry / Korma.... nothing like the butter chicken you would get in 99.98% of other Indian restaurants in Australia. Perhaps it really is the authentic Hyderabad version, in which case it was nothing like we expected. The chef was kind enough to cook us another version of the butter chicken for free, although it was a little sweeter, the chasm between my expectation of what a butter chicken dish should taste like was too great to a void to cross. This is a good cafe, I'm sure all the other dishes were very good. Just stick t9 the carbonara or the gnocchi. We had a table of 11, so it took over 35 minutes for the dishes to come out... as there was only one chef....

The menu offered a fantastic variety of brunch options, cateting to both traditional and adventurous palates. I opted for the vegan breakfast , and it was a vibrant medley of fresh vegetables, perfectly seasoned tofu scramble, and a hearty whole-grain toast. it was not only delicious but also incredibly satifying. My dining companion chose the grilled chicken tikka, which was equally impressive. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice and the accompanying sides complemented it beautifully.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting making it ideal sport for leisurely brunch with friends or family.
