HITTIN’ THE GRILL — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Let me start by saying I consider myself a burger expert. I’ve been to countless burger joints over the years and I’m constantly searching for the best burgers in Brisbane. And of course to my luck they weren’t in Brisbane at all. Rather they were here in the Gold Coast. I had the big smash and my partner had the guacamole smash. Not only were they fairly large given how small everything is now. But they were amazing! - some of the best burgers we’ve ever eaten. The chips were also really well cooked and seasoned. They were crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The patties tho 😭 - were hands down THE BEST patties I’ve ever had. Seasoned beautifully. Perfectly crisp and still juicy despite being a smash burger. It’s really hard to get a smash burger to be thin. Crispy AND juicy. Not even Milky Lane can do it. But these guys did. Absolute legends

The lady who served us was super sweet and noticed we were new and came over to us after we had eaten and asked us how everything was and had a small chat with us. Which goes along way as a customer

The only complaint either one of us has. Was the garlic aioli wasnt the best. Too milky and the seating arrangement was…really tight but i understand the lot they had was tiny so they did the best they could

Overall this is a MUST EAT AT We live in Brisbane but we will certainly be coming back next time...

We recently ordered takeaway from HITTIN’ THE GRILL in Helensvale and had such a fantastic experience! The staff were super friendly - genuinely above-and-beyond service, which you don’t see often these days.

Is the food good? Yes! The Triple Smash Burger was one of the best I’ve had - juicy, perfectly cooked, and loaded with flavour. The loaded fries were crispy and addictive.

What about drinks? My friend tried a few of the milkshakes and absolutely loved them, super creamy and refreshing! Unfortunately, I couldn’t have any because there were no vegan options available. Please, please, please consider adding at least one vegan-friendly option to the menu! It would make such a difference for those of us with dietary needs.

Parking & Convenience? Yes, there’s easy free parking right outside and takeaway was super convenient. Our food was ready on time and packed perfectly.

Any dietary options? They do have some vegan options and the staff were helpful, but a few more plant-based or vegan choices would be amazing, especially with how good everything else is!

Located at 34-38 Siganto Drive, Helensvale, HITTIN’ THE GRILL is a must-visit for burger lovers, and I’ll definitely be back. Just hoping to see that vegan milkshake next time! Would be one of the first ones in Gold Coast for sure!

WOW WOW WOW. If I could give 100 stars I really would.

First of all the food is DELICIOUS. I am actually gutted we didn’t find this place sooner! Such an extensive range to choose from and all such great quality.

Secondly, the friendly atmosphere has won myself and my partner over the most. They were so kind to our toddler, she received a sticker, they had lovely conversation with her, and even got her a small handful of chips in a bucket for her to munch on while we waited for our order. This is a kind gesture that any parent would be so grateful for and it really means a lot.

Thirdly, we had no idea of their Sunday special! Any orders over $30 automatically gets 3 chicken tenders added on complimentary. And they are HUGE.

Hittin’ the grill really does deserve all of their great reviews. We definitely will be back!!
