Caffene Break Runaway Bay — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I've been to this cafe on a number of occasions. The staff have been friendly and welcoming, the coffee great however today after being greeted by both the barista and waiter I was berated by a lady at the register for carrying my tiny puppy inside. She didn't even say hello, just went off about how I should tie my dog up outside etc... I requested that she take my order so I could pay and bring the coffee to me outside which has always been the case however the lady continued on her rant and whine in which case I departed. She may have been having a bad day but as I let her know it really put me off. I probably won't return so I don't cause her any...

It was closed and they still served us. The BLAT and eggs on toast are just the best. Yummiest on the Gold Coast. Also the coffee is fantastic as well. This is easy my favourite place to go for breakfast/lunch. Quiet atmosphere, dog friendly, my 3 year old loves it also child friendly.. and lovely service with delicious food....

Coffee was excellent! Perfect temperature. The service was exceptional - very friendly and offered to create a bespoke breakfast to my liking, although not needed as there is a menu item for everyone's taste. My halloumi stack looked amazing and tasted even better!! The beetroot relish...
