Disappointing Coffee quality - don’t waste your money.

Too late to ask for my money back for the terrible coffee you served me today so I’m afraid I have to leave a bad review in return.

I ordered a small almond milk latte and was so disappointed with it that I felt that I was possibly given a dilution of the coffee from the previous customer ie. hot water run through it for 2nd time - that is how bad it was. The almond milk was also not of taste I’m familiar with. I did question at the time as I saw the “barista” with oat milk carton in hand but then he showed me the almond milk carton. Not sure what went on behind that coffee machine when I wasn’t looking. It’s a shame that anyone who can warm up milk thinks they can make a good cup of coffee. Having had my own cafe I know the techniques required to make a good coffee. My customers always complimented my coffee and said I made the best coffee - sadly I am yet to come across anyone who makes one half as good. Considering the cost of a cup of coffee these days and after another bad experience I think I will stop believing that I will find another like me and stop throwing my money away. Very disappointed in this cafe which on the outside appear to make good coffee but have shown they need to learn the art and techniques on how to make a coffee worth the price...

Had a very early arrival to the gold coast for a mini holiday and so we decided to walk around on the hunt for good food and coffee. After walking through a lot of surfers cafes that really didn't convince us...we stumbled across ESPL, we noticed there was a great vibe with good music as we walked past and lots of people in work attire choosing this place, so we thought it's a good sign if the locals are coming here... And WOW glad we stopped! We then literally walked here every morning from the hotel for the coffee. It really was one of the best coffee's I've had in a while and my partner got obsessed with their bullet coffee. The staff was also super friendly and lovely! For food I had only tried the bagel and salmon and also the chicken sandwich and they were both exceptional! I'm sure everything else was too!
