I’ll start out by saying my wife would have given the food 4 stars, she really enjoyed her Corn Zucchini Fritters, and she kept commenting on how pretty the cafe was. Skip to the end to get an overview since pros and cons of my writing bores you.

I actually quite liked my breakfast as well. The Chorizo Baked Shakshuka was tasty, but I’m pretty sure it only had one round slice of chorizo sausage in it, which is disappointing considering the brekky dish had chorizo in the name.

My daughter’s kids meal, on the other hand, looked horrible. It was a generous portion of scrambled eggs and bacon on sourdough toast. But the bacon was grey, and the eggs, bacon and coleslaw were plopped over the bread. Perhaps if it were presented on a black plate like my wife’s and my meal it would have appeared better. Although as unappealing as it looked to us, my daughter thought it was delicious and loved that the slaw had apples in it.

The menu itself was uninspired. From the Instagram posts, write ups, and price, I was expecting a trendy menu and something different to greet my palette. Instead it was Gold Coast basics that I’ve seen on very breakfast menu for the last 10+ years. It run like a no frills breakfast joint I went to as a kid, but disguised in a pretty motif.

The meals came out pretty fast, but the wait at the counter was slow. The person who took my order seemed pretty new to hospitality. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and guess this was her first job at a cafe. My guess, and only a guess, that this is a family owned cafe and the daughter is on counter duty.

The atmosphere was nice, with pink flowers and greenery everywhere, and a flowered arch at the entrance. My wife kept commenting on how pretty it was (including the pink coffee mugs). The tables were a bit wobbly and we had to keep warning our daughter to not rest her hands on the edge hence our drinks spill.

Parking was limited and difficult to access due to the light rail construction. But this is all the more reason to visit places like this and keep them running. Although my review may not be glowing, the coffee was good, the staff were friendly, and it has potential if they raise the bar a bit.

Pros pretty atmosphere (get a photo under the flowered arch) great coffee good food portions friendly staff

Cons parking options are limited (perhaps are allowed to park in the connected motel carparks?) a mom and pop cafe with trendy cafe prices wobbly tables the covered area is a little dim and less inspired than the outdoor seating area slow...

I love this place 🥰

this is really great coffee shop because they make excellent coffee which is not very easy to find in this area here

The owner of this business has excellent taste in staff all of the staff are extremely attentive polite friendly professional proficient and much more

Pay the staff a bonus boss, the attention to detail was outstanding 💫

There was a good smell the coffee smell from halfway down the street the place was frequented with families and singles

Many people visited while I was there, a lot of people with dogs

This area is popular for dog walking, from walking around the foreshore no doubt because the beach is very close but apparently the dog beach is a little way away

Access for disabled is okay as it is flat ground ♿️

There is a good shopping centre across the road so it's handy if you want to have coffee before you go shopping I am sure the shopping center does not have coffee as good

There were many good things there, they have gifts in a shop so there is a gift selection area there are cute little dog toys to buy as in a toy that is a dog and they have good cakes and they were good meals available and it was excellent for groups of people because those plenty of space it was comfortable with there were cushions on the benches I enjoyed it immensely

There were lots of sporty people who would been doing swimming or doing activities of leisure and then going into the shop for coffee or breakfast and they were lots of flowers and beautiful arrangements which adorned the place in the most spectacular fashion

Aesthetically very appealing and also there was ambience and the fact that there was very good acoustic softness in the area makes a big difference because some cafes are very hard and horrible which is difficult for people with anxiety and difficulties of stress in life

A relaxing place with soft music. Most agreeable a place to visit. Very...

This is my second time to this restaurant. The first picture is from the last time I came during lunch time. I had business nearby so I searched for a nearby restaurant. I just wanted to have a quick bite but I was really surprised. First of all, the environment. I didn't have any expectations for the environment for a casual visit, but it was so cute when I found it across the street hahahaha. The pink style makes it a little different from other restaurants. Let's talk about the dishes. Today I was the first customer when the door opened in the morning. The second picture is what I tasted, which was completely beyond my expectations. Its name is Chorizo Baked Egg Shakshuka. To be honest, I had no idea what it was when I asked them to recommend it until it was served to me. The combination of tomato-flavored sauce with eggs and cheese is really super delicious. The first picture seems to be their signature dish, tiger prawn pasta, which is also amazing. The sauce is wrapped around the noodles, and the shrimp meat is clean and pleasing to the eye. I...
