Went to this branch on 4 october 2023 between 6-730 pm
ordered the giant feast which comes with the 15 pieces of chicken requested if i could swap the pieces there was this ethnic guy serving me YOUNG KID ( my two cents pls dont put people at the ordering counter if they don't have knowledge about what they are selling asked him questions about the giant feast he could not answer any of them and looked at me well i don't work at kfc so i don't know the answers i am just a customer coming in to order , then he goes and get his manager "HAYDEN" WOW WHAT ATTITUDE instead of helping a customer and explaining to me what is offered in the giant feast and what can be swapped and what can't be , He actually turns around and says to me i am going at the back I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS i stopped him at this point is this how you are trained to be a manager at kfc when a customer is standing there asking you questions about a family deal you just simply say i can't deal with this and run in the back very strange behaviour ( not capable staff you have representing your franchise ) if there is a issue with a customer let's go all hide at the back wow that's great manager skills people like him only lose customers not gain maybe who knows he has personal issues in his life god knows pls dont come to work quit your job give the job to someone who is actually capable .
i am walking inside your franchise to spend money and i am not interested in anything except what i am getting for my money and food and i don't work there so yes i might have questions or you are not allowed to ask questions when hayden the manager is on because he can't deal with it and he will run at the back ha ha ha never seen this behaviour in the customer service industry last time i checked as you are representing a brand you treat the customer with politeness and actually be helpful explaining things .
YOU LOST MY BUSINESS forever and i just want to pass the word around showing others how you will get treated if you went to this branch
I WENT TO MAIN STREET kangaroo point ( excellent staff so helpful maybe you should send all your staff to main street kangaroo point , i believe they could learn a lot from the staff there asked the same questions( what was too much for hayden to handle ) there about giant feast and the guy in charge was so helpful explained everything and made sure the order was prepared fast
highly would recommend go take your business somewhere else go to another branch
as if you have a issue hayden is not trained to handle questions as he cant handle things and will run at the back
people like him only bring a bad name...
Read moreWORST SERVICE EVER. I work nearby and decided to order kfc for our mini staff party. I ordered through the kfc app and asked for delivery. I believe I ordered around 11:30am and the ETA said 12:30. The app said the order was picked up by “Eduardo” By 12:58, the order still had not been despatched. I called the store at 41 ferry road, the manager answered and said “there are no drivers so we cannot call anybody to ask”
I asked if I could get a refund. He said I had to ask Doordash even though I paid through the kfc app? I don’t even have the doordash app or details?? And my payment went to kfc.
I asked if I could pick the order up myself and he said yes that’s fine.
I drove to the drive through and a girl rudely asked me why I skipped the speaker box and I told her I’m just here to pick up my app order and I do not need to order. She said my order doesn’t exist. I showed her the order on the app and she told me to park the car and come inside to get the order. The manager told me that he cannot issue the refund because I ordered through door dash and “this happens all the time” but it is not their fault.
I said it’s really inconvenient and I paid for delivery. Someone from kfc should have called me to cancel the order. He said to blame door dash lol and it had nothing to do with kfc. His words exactly. But I ordered through the kfc app? Omg children managers are so frustrating to talk to. The 14 year old manager refused to compensate me for the inconvenience and lack of professionalism. I would have been happy with a free chips but he was an idiot. He refused and insisted I only deserved the chicken I paid for. My lunch time was over anyway so I agreed and told him to get it. He then said: “don’t tell me what to do, don’t be rude, we are in the middle of talking I will not go get the chicken I’ll give you your money back and not give you the chicken”
wtffffff hahah this is what happens when you hire children who are inadequate in dealing with a minor adversity. How embarrassing for a huge chain to have hired a joke of an employee and made him manager. I actually worked at kfc when I was younger and we were trained to ensure every customer had a positive experience and the ones who didn’t were compensated with some extra food or vouchers. The cost of the food that you give to compensate for a bad experience is minuscule in comparison to the damage from 1 negative experience.

Read moreThe worst KFC in the country- waited in the drive through for 45min to finally to be able to place an order - then told to wait a sec, 15min later my order was taken, my money was taken and another 20min wait to get my order at the service window. I was told their cook had called in sick, hence the delay. Finally on my way home after an hour and 20min wait, only to find I was not given what I ordered. I called the store to let them know even after the long wait I was not given what I ordered. I was told by the staff member that the chicken was hot and spicy and the cook had made a mistake and not breaded it correctly. The chicken I received was not hot and spicy ( what I ordered ) what I received was the most foul attempt at some greasy chicken with no flavour ( not even the original recipe) The staff member assured me it was hot and spicy and hung up before I could finish my complaint. I feel sorry for the long line of cars still waiting that are looking forward to a night off from cooking - mine ended up in the bin and I’m sure others will too. Why the manager of the store is still allowing customers to use the drive through when they know they are under staffed and don’t have a cook that knows what they are doing. My recommendation to anyone that wants to visit KFC Ferry Road Southport, is to drive right past and find another location.
