This restaurant (very close to where we live) recently opened and we thought we would give it a try. It is situated in the lobby of the Tryp Hotel in Meron Street. This could be its winter downfall. The lobby is glass and bright surfaces, double-storeyed and will be cold in winter. Our pizzas cooled off rapidly. Service was good, a charming man who introduced us to a Riverina wine called Belena. (Yes we bought some from Dan Murphy’s on the way back home.) There wasn’t a large choice of wine by the glass and nothing was under $15 per glass. Pizzas were tasty but like a lot of pizzas nowadays, a little thin on the toppings and a touch burnt. As pizzas now sell for around $30+ and the dough isn’t an expensive component, some restaurants need to be a little more generous to keep customers.
