I do grocery here almost daily bases for last 3 years because they do decent range of indian groceries. But first time I asked the recipet & checked it. I believed there is a error. I am not sure who's responsible but to be honest you can't trust them simply. I know the owner well meet & greet over hundreds of time's but it's just disappointing for me. Your response & apology was fine but where there you wrote about financial error, using of social media & judging customer literacy level is a weird. It's just little werid. I am not here to debate but according to Australian law Section 29 of the ACL sets out the types of claims or statements that may be false or misleading is totally illegal & you can get into a real problem for the reference I am also attaching the photo of shop shelve as advertised of the merchandised. Please do not give examples of other super market's. Many super markets offered straight simple apology & even offered free merchandised as a rewards but I am not going into it. Unfortunately, I only realized this after cooking and even accidentally consuming a small amount. When I returned to the store to report the issue, they refused to take responsibility and instead made me speak with their supplier. The supplier casually blamed the rainy weather and assured me that eating a little wouldnât harm meâcompletely dismissing the fact that I had just eaten contaminated food.
This is a serious health and safety violation. A responsible business should ensure proper storage and quality checks, especially for food items. Instead, the store acted as if it wasnât their problem and refused to offer any compensation for the wasted time, effort, and distress caused.
