Omg what an absolutely horrible experience! If I could leave no stars I would. Went in with my little granddaughter and son. Ordered 3 meals and 4 plates of sushi. The meal bowls were tiny with more rice than food and the quality very low. But that’s not what made the experience horrible. My granddaughter ordered the barbie apple juice which cost $5 but I wanted to give her a treat. She drank a little but told me it tasted strange so we ordered her the orange Dora one hoping it would be better. One sip of that one and she gave it straight back. Wondering what was wrong I tried it and it was disgusting, it tasted off. I let the waitress know that the drinks were not right and I was not going to pay for them as she hadn’t drunk them. The waitress was ok with that until the owner came out and insisted that we pay and that it wasn’t his problem that they were off. He gave me a number to ring which was the drink company’s number and refused to assist any further. I insisted that I did not feel I should pay for drinks that were below standard quality and he threatened to call the police. He was extremely rude and my little granddaughter was quite scared at that stage so I paid. I spent $81.00 there and they refused to refund me one off orange juice. And the funny thing is that I actually rang the company and they told me his conduct was unacceptable because the drink only cost him $1.50 and he charges $5.00 for it. The right thing would have been to not charge me for the drink which was not touched. Customer service absolutely disgusting from the owner. The waitress was nice until he spoke to her so she’s obviously scared of him. Very small portion food and extremely overpriced. Avoid going to this Sushi Train (Southport Metro)...
Read moreI visited today for the first-time, and picked up chef's special dish on the rail which was 2 piece of kingfish sushi. Unfortunately, fish bone came out when I bite one piece. Staff suggested what about 3pieces of salmon sushi for reward after I complained, but I claimed same one. Unfortunately again, the sushi didn't come until the end, furthermore, the dish was counted when it check out. I requested that would not pay it. However, she claimed for me to pay it because I ate whole already. After complaining again, she requested to pay for half price because fish bone came out from one piece of two. I suppose that this is serious situation. Firstly, coming out fish bone is dangerous extremely to customers. This is kitchen's miss definitely. Secondly, one staff has forgotten my request-That's fine, understable. Finally, I could not feel any excuse emotion from cashier even though she said sorry. It seems that she just take over responsibilities to me. Is there anyone who remove the small fish bones before swallowing? I couldn't look forward any proper reward from this circumstance, only got...
Read moreFound a black hair in our food. Told our waitress, who told the kitchen. After we went to pay, we were left at the register for 5 minutes in a pretty empty restaurant as at least 3 staff rushed around us. We asked them if we could pay, we were given short and curt responses to wait. All the while, we were made to feel like we'd done something terrible. Waitress then attended, advised us that the manager said that the BLACK hair was actually BLONDE, and because no staff in the restaurant have BLONDE hair, then it must have been from my partner who has neither BLACK or BLONDE hair. Absolutely farcical. We paid for our food and left. We were made to feel like the whole incident was our fault, and that we were lying garbage to mention the hair to our waitress. To be clear, and as we said to our waitress - we wanted no compensation or anything as a result. Do better Sushi Train. This is abhorrent customer service, and has left an extremely sour taste in our...
