After having been to this establishment on at least 3 different occasions..all for lunch.. its definitely time to sing it's praise..
The staff are always so friendly and you will be greeted by a traditional Japanese welcome that is as sincere as it if vociferous..
The menu has some great lunch specials.. make sure you turn the menu over and delve in these great prices for lunch.. a recommendation is the loin steak with prawns (or calamari or octopus) for only 28 dollars.. it is a wholesome meal that also includes miso soup.. rice and salad.
The serving sizes are large and you certainly won't leave hungry or dissatisfied.. you can sit by the grill and watch the show or sit outside and relax as you watch the passing parade of Broadbeach.
As a local I love being here.. as a tourist you can enjoy the ambience as save some money from some of the other tourist traps..
Either way.. one not to...
Read moreWent there for dinner family of 6 (2 adults & 4 children 8,9,13,13) on holiday from NZ. Waited at the counter to be seated they explained how it all works with ordering etc. We asked if we could be seated at the bar bit where we/kids could see the chef cooking & have that whole experience as we don't have this where we live.. Ordered our meals & then got told we couldn't sit there as we didn't order 6 main meals (we ordered 5 main meals & 1 entre).. where there was another family of 4 with 2 younger children & they didn't order 4 main meals... No kids meals so got 3 meals for them to share.. Very disappointed with the main lady she was rude needs to learn some hospitality manners.. Our bill was $250 which was very expensive & not getting what we actually went in there for. The food was very yummy &...
Read moreWent here with my mum and sister without a booking on holidays. I informed them that I had coeliac disease and the waitresses and the chefs were extremely accommodating. They were constantly confirming that they were only using gluten free ingredients. The chef cleaned down the grill in front of us before making my gluten free food.
The food was excellent, we had the fried (gf), the chicken (gf) and my sister and mum had the beef.
We started at a table to order, then were moved to the teppanyaki station promptly to watch our food being cooked. The chef was very entertaining and personable. I also noticed that he was very engaging with children at other groups’ table so it is definitely a good option for families.
Would definitely recommend as a dinner option for anyone...
